In the revolutionary history, Premier Zhou had lived in Yan'an and northern Shaanxi for many years, and revisited the old place, so he naturally had to go to Zaoyuan, go to Yangjialing, wading through the Yan River, and climb the Baota Mountain. At that time, the Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi after the Long March of 25,000 miles, and also issued a great call to establish a national anti-Japanese national united front.
Then, with the peaceful resolution of the Xi'an Incident, Premier Zhou, then vice chairman of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, had traveled back and forth between Yan'an, Xi'an, Hangzhou and other places many times in order to coordinate the series of problems that arise in the " Second Cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party ".

What are the contradictions between Chen Youcai and Zhang Guotao?

Just in June 1935, after the Central Red Army and the Red Fourth Front Army led by Zhang Guotao met in Maogong, Sichuan, someone secretly filed a lawsuit against Zhang Guotao, saying that Chen Youcai, who was the captain of the reconnaissance and communication team of the Red Army headquarters at that time, served as Mao Zedong's guard, so he was "the person over there".
It turns out that Chen Youcai was the child of a poor farmer's family in Liangtian Town, Chen County, Hunan Province. His father once served as the captain of the village self-defense force. In August 1927, after his father was killed by the enemy, Chen Youcai, who was only 12 years old at the time, still resolutely served as the leader of the Children's Corps.
14 years old, Chen You, who had to wander around due to the failure of the revolution, joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army , and then followed Zhu De and Chen Yi's Xiangnan Detachment to Jinggangshan .
After joining the army, although Chen Youcai was not very old, he was extremely brave when fighting. Especially in the two battles of attacking Yongxin Heishantou and defending Huangyangjie , his performance was very outstanding, and was therefore called "little tiger" by the soldiers.
It was not long after it became famous that this "little tiger" was spotted by General Zhu on Jinggangshan and sent him to serve as a guard for then-CCP member Mao Zedong. In the following days, Chen Youcai served as guard, staff officer and headquarters communications company commander in the Red Army.
After the failure of the fifth anti-encirclement and suppression, Chen Youcai followed the Red Army on an arduous journey of the Long March, not only ensuring the normal communication and communication, but also participating in the battle, but also protecting the safety of the leaders. But even so, this young soldier never complained about being tired.
After the Central Red Army and the Red Fourth Front Army merged, Chen Youcai was sent to Zhang Guotao, the Red Fourth Front Army to serve as a liaison work. Unexpectedly, after getting along with Zhang Guotao, Chen Youcai quickly discovered the idea of . This person was trying to split the party and the Red Army in his heart. He was so straightforward that he couldn't help but complain.
But just these complaints were heard by someone who was interested, and they reported to Zhang Guotao in a jealous way. Even though Zhang Guotao was shocked and angry, he planned to deal with Chen Youcai quietly.
Fortunately, before Zhang Guotao took the lead, Zhou Enlai, who was still lying on a stretcher due to serious illness at the time, heard this situation and immediately made a decision to transfer Chen Youcai to his side. this saved this loyal and revolutionary Communist Party member from being harmed.
Chen Youcai's reciprocity
There is a Chinese saying that "a drop of water should be reciprocated." After coming to Premier Zhou, Chen Youcai was incorporated into a recuperation team composed of medical staff and stretcher teams, and has basically stayed by the Prime Minister since then.

At the critical moment, Chen Youcai was very quick to learn about and called out a few soldiers wearing camouflage hats, leaves on their shoulders, and branches in their hands. He and they were closely surrounded by Premier Zhou as a cover. From a distance, they looked like a bush of ordinary shrubs.
Several people were lying motionless on the Prime Minister. When six enemy planes were hovering away, Chen Youcai, who breathed a sigh of relief, got up from Premier Zhou.
However, just as he breathed a sigh of relief, Chen Youcai tensed up his nerves again. There is nothing else, just because he believes that the enemy planes will pass here when they return to the airplane next time, and the stretcher target is too big and difficult to hide, and it is not easy to use the previous methods to get away with it every time.

After the enemy plane flew away, the soldiers carefully jumped out of the ditch and found that a large pit was blown out of the place where the stretcher was placed. One of the soldiers said to Chen Youcai with lingering fear:

Chen Youcai was not polite, but "feeling proudly" said to Premier Zhou, who had just been helped out of the ditch by the soldiers:
"You saved my life, and now I have saved your life."

Heroic and fearless, naturally loved by others
After the Central Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi in the Long March, Chen Youcai was alert and brave in combat, and had a body and appearance similar to that of the Prime Minister, so he officially became the Prime Minister's guard staff.
However, although it has arrived at Chiang Kai-shek's "tentas" of , it is difficult to reach northern Shaanxi for the time being, in the following days, Chen Youcai and the Prime Minister's lives are still dangerous.
In February 1932, the Red Army fought eastwards with , and Premier Zhou followed another Red Army left on the west side to Suide . Unexpectedly, here, they were suddenly attacked by the Kuomintang team. Because the enemy's attack came suddenly and its firepower was better than that of the Red Army, a team of Kuomintang soldiers at once approached a hillside not far from Premier Zhou.

However, an enemy soldier quietly lurked behind a big rock while retreating. When he saw a "communist official", that is, Premier Zhou, he immediately raised his gun and prepared to aim and shoot, wanting to hit the luck.
Chen Youcai was quick-witted and rushed forward with a quick look when he saw this, pressing the enemy to the ground with all his strength. While he used the "box cannon" to kill the enemy soldier, the terrified Kuomintang soldier also pulled the trigger and shot Chen Youcai's thigh.

The bandits were preparing to ambush the convoy, but here, starting from Yan'an, many soldiers thought it would be just a relaxing and pleasant trip. They relaxed their vigilance and just sat in the car talking and laughing all the way, saying that they must take a few more glances when they arrive in Xi'an.
Just like that, amid the laughter, the car that Premier Zhou and his party drove past the Sanshilipu Station on the southernmost side of the Red Army Defense Zone, and then headed south along the winding mountain highway, gradually coming to the northern foot of Laoshan, 60 miles away from Yan'an.
Laoshan more than 80 years ago was not the park today. It has ravines and dangerous mountains and dense forests. When people are quiet, you can even hear high-pitched howls of wolves. It is really not a good place.
Just as the truck had just turned over an intersection of the Panshan Highway and slowly drove into a canyon ground clamped by the dirt slopes on both sides, a crisp " bang" sound from far to near, but Chen You, who was gradually relaxing in the car, shuddered.

Faced with Chen Youcai's determination, Premier Zhou did not hold his hand to pull any private relationship with his children. He just told Chen Youcai before being taken to break through by the soldiers:
"Take care!"

It turned out that just after the Prime Minister broke away from the encirclement, Chen You ordered the rest of his comrades to scatter their breakthrough, and he was still standing in that conspicuous position to attract the enemy's firepower. However, the bandits around him were happy to see the hunting officer, and had already shouted "Capture Zhou Enlai alive" to surround him, and there was no hope of breaking through.
Finally, although Chen Youcai led the soldiers to resist resolutely, due to the lack of enemies and lack of ammunition, the remaining troops eventually survived the brutal rage of the bandits.
Later, the bandits found the business card of "Zhou Enlai" from the fallen Chen Youcai's shirt and pocket. They mistakenly thought that the ambush was successful, so they left with yelling.
