This topic has been briefly discussed before, and I want to talk about it again today. Because everybody discussed this topic a few days ago.
My personal understanding is that vegetarians are better for people over 40 years old. But due to individual differences, there is no absolute good or bad. For example, some people drink too much and are fine. Some people get drunk as soon as they drink. There are people who eat meat all year round without high blood pressure, and some people can’t.
Why do you say that you are a vegetarian at 40 years old? After the age of 40, the body is going downhill and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular problems are prone to occur, so a vegetarian diet is better.
At the same time, individual differences must also be considered. For example, your health is not good at all, you can't help but need nutrition, and you choose to be vegetarian and don't give it nutrition, can it be okay?
Some people have good health and do not lack nutrition. Proper vegetarianism is no problem. Children and young people still need nutrition to meet the body's growth needs, and the elderly should not have overnutrition because they have poor metabolism and can't get rid of them.
A relative of me was in a good family when he was young. Specially eaten 30 years ago. Now both couples have physical problems.
In short, don't eat too well, it's still right. If your body is empty and appropriate to eat, also exercise. If you are in good health, you can prefer a vegetarian diet. I think there is no absolute "vegetarian" and absolute "meat". The diet still follows the eating habits of our Chinese people. Don't bring Western food into your life, because we have lived in this way since we were young. There are different races. Different living habits and eating habits also follow the laws of nature.
Don't go too far in everything, follow the trend, and conform to yourself is your way of health.
