Chicken feet

chicken feet, pancong chicken [zōspan] also known as chicken feet, pancong chicken It is a kind of delicious mountain treasure, called the king of fungus. Its meat is fat and strong, with fine silky white quality, fresh and sweet, crisp and tender, fragrant and delicious, comparable to chicken, hence the name Jicong.

It contains many nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, iron and protein. There are many ways to eat chicken fir, both raw and cooked, stir-fried and boiled for soup, and the taste is extremely delicious.

Fruit body Medium to large. The cap is 3-23.5cm wide, conical to bell-shaped when it is young, and gradually stretches out. The top is prominently convex and has a hat shape, gray-brown or brown to light khaki. It radiates and cracks after elder, and sometimes the edges turn up. The flesh is white and thick.

The gills are white to milky white, yellowish after elder, curved or nearly free, dense, narrow, unequal length, with wavy edges. The stipe is relatively thick, 3-15cm long, 0.7-2.4cm thick, white or the same color as the cap, solid inside, enlarged at the base with brown to dark brown slender pseudoroots, up to 40cm in length.
