According to reports, the total operating income of the top 100 private enterprises this year was 589.1 billion yuan, an increase of 12.67% over the previous year. There are 15 companies with operating income exceeding 10 billion yuan, and 17 companies with net profit exceeding 500 million yuan. Three companies, Shengtun Mining, Fuxin Group and San'an Group, were ranked among the top 500 private enterprises in the country, and 38 others were ranked among the top 100 private enterprises in Fujian Province. In addition, the total tax payment amount of the top 100 private enterprises increased by by 15.9% year-on-year, and 8 companies paid taxes of more than 500 million yuan; the total number of employees absorbed by the top 100 private enterprises increased by 42.55% year-on-year, and 6 companies with more than 10,000 employees.
In addition, the Municipal Private Office set up thirteen industrial categories based on the city's key industries guidance catalog. After comprehensive scoring and consultation with relevant departments, it selected 117 enterprises as the leading and backbone private enterprises of key industries in Xiamen in 2022, including Hongxin Electronics, Hongfa Sound , Qianzhao Optoelectronics and other well-known enterprises.

Over the past decade, Xiamen's private economy has maintained good growth resilience. The added value of the city's private economy has increased from 67.93 billion yuan to 341.78 billion yuan, accounting for 24.1% to 48.6% of the city's GDP; the amount of private investment has increased from 40.12 billion yuan to 71.46 billion yuan; it has contributed more than 40% of the city's tax revenue and nearly 40% of the total foreign trade import and export.
For ten years, private enterprises in Xiamen have insisted on leveraging development through innovation and played an important role in building a "4+4+6" modern industrial system in our city. In 2021, there were 2,456 private enterprises among the national high-tech enterprises in the city, accounting for 87.8%.
Over the past decade, the number of new employment in private enterprises in the city has been 916,700, accounting for 83.26% of the new employment registration in the city.
