Recently, the 7th National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Seminar was held online, hosted by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, under the guidance of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Steering Committee of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of China Higher Education Society, and co-organized by the Virtual Teaching and Research Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform in the Digital Intelligence Era of the Ministry of Education.
The participating experts conducted interactive exchanges on how to play the role of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Chinese-style modernization, the new changes brought about by Yuanshi technology, and the exploration of innovation and entrepreneurship education models in colleges and universities in the new era. They emphasized the need to build a more integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education system around the goals of Chinese-style modernization, continue to pay attention to cutting-edge new technologies and new breakthroughs, cultivate new areas of development, expand new development tracks, and cultivate new development momentum.
Focusing on re-understanding the function of innovation and entrepreneurship education, Professor Xu Fei, Chairman of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of the China Higher Education Society and Executive Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, emphasized that "entrepreneurship should pay more attention to the quality and quality of the 'business' created." As educated young people who have received higher education, they should make full use of the professional knowledge and skills they have learned, work hard in high-tech, high-intelligence, and high-knowledge-intensive fields, lead entrepreneurship with innovation and creation, and give full play to the role of venture capital and creativity. Professor Zhou Bin, executive deputy dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Tongji University, emphasized that it is necessary to deeply study the systematic discussion of "education, technology and talents" from the 20th National Congress and maximize the important function of innovation and entrepreneurship education in innovation and development.
Focusing on the hot issue of promoting the modernization of innovation and entrepreneurship education, Professor Liu Zhiyang, Secretary-General of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of the China Higher Education Society, the pilot responsible for the construction of the virtual teaching and research section of the Ministry of Education for the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform in the Digital Intelligence Era", and Executive Vice Dean of the Entrepreneurship School of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Professor Liu Zhiyang shared a keynote report on "Promoting Chinese-style modernization through the modernization of innovation and entrepreneurship education". He emphasized that currently, innovation and entrepreneurship education as a new species still encounters three obstacles in the process of promoting Chinese modernization: the central position of innovation and entrepreneurship education is not solid, and innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education are two-fold; innovation and entrepreneurship education lacks strong support from disciplines; innovation and entrepreneurship education cannot adapt to the development of digital technology . To this end, changes should be made in three aspects: First, accelerate the construction of a new paradigm for cultivating integrated innovative and entrepreneurial talents. Specifically, it includes building a new talent training method of "integration of ideas and innovation", creating a new layout of disciplines and majors of "integration of science and innovation", promoting a new project of curriculum materials of "integration of specialization and innovation", building a new way of knowledge application of "integration of competition and education" and building a new practical teaching system of "integration of industry and innovation"; secondly, actively building a new model of digital intelligence platform for innovation and entrepreneurship. It is necessary to explore a new path for the development of digital intelligence with smart learning factories as the starting point, and actively embrace the new changes in education brought about by Yuanshi technology; third, strive to build China's independent entrepreneurship knowledge system to better promote the improvement of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Professor Dong Zhengying, deputy director of the Student Innovation Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, believes that it can be dealt with through four aspects: "persisting in combining theory and practice, insisting on building a team with interdisciplinary and diversified backgrounds, insisting on value creation orientation, and insisting on focusing on thinking cultivation".
The National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Seminar, initiated by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, aims to provide a stage for ideological collision and exchange among innovation and entrepreneurship education colleagues across the country, and become an annual feast of ideas in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
