Contemporary society is a society governed by the rule of law. Against the background that the strategy of comprehensive rule of law has gradually penetrated into all aspects of society, local governments and management departments have begun to actively revise local policies and carry out special actions to crack down on corporate violations. Many companies are fined and charged due to their weak awareness of compliance. However, the fees charged by some companies are not subject to legal supervision, which has brought many additional burdens to the companies. 
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Municipal Supervision Bureau jointly issued a notice to uniformly deploy self-examination and self-correction work nationwide, requiring all local departments to standardize the charging standards for illegal enterprises based on local actual conditions, and avoid layer upon layer exploitation and personal enrichment. Recently, many provinces and cities have launched related burden reduction actions with the key goal of reducing the burden on enterprises, which mainly involve the service industry that has been greatly affected by the epidemic, manufacturing related to the national economy and people's livelihood, as well as small and micro enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households. In today's highly modernized business activities, corporate compliance construction is no longer just a matter of external supervision. Enterprises themselves are gradually becoming the main body of corporate compliance construction. At a time when the downward pressure on the global economy is increasing, only companies with the ability to repair and renew themselves can move forward steadily and go far.
In order to assist enterprises in building internal compliance management systems, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued a document in 2016 to launch a pilot project for enterprise compliance construction among central enterprises. Although
has basically established laws, regulations and operating standards related to corporate compliance during the pilot process, some companies still have their own development restricted due to the lack of compliance awareness of their managers and the lack of relevant compliance talents. In order to help companies better build enterprise management systems , on March 18, 2021, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, together with the State Bureau of Municipal Supervision and the National Bureau of Statistics, included the profession of corporate compliance officers in the "Occupational Classification Code", marking that my country's corporate compliance has since entered a new stage.
As professionals who specialize in serving corporate compliance construction, the main job of corporate compliance engineers is to comprehensively integrate the external requirements that may be encountered during corporate operations, and combine them with the relevant internal operating conditions of the company, thereby constructing a set of easy-to-operate and highly feasible corporate compliance operating procedures, and standardizing the company's own operations by guiding the behavior of corporate employees. Society is changing with each passing day, and the legal environment's requirements for enterprises are also changing all the time. Because of this, corporate compliance engineers also need to constantly update the enterprise's compliance management system, so that they can successfully lead enterprises to avoid compliance risks and move toward rapid development.
In recent years, thanks to the unremitting efforts of my country's judicial departments, the compliance awareness of enterprises at all levels has improved. In addition to central enterprises setting up chief compliance officers, large private enterprises have also established compliance departments, and small and medium-sized enterprises have also begun to recruit professional corporate compliance officers from the labor market. In order to meet the growing employment needs of enterprises, the China Enterprise Evaluation Professional Committee for Corporate Compliance Officers has sponsored the Professional Competence (Level) Examination for Corporate Compliance Officers.
