My daughter has been staying in Tsinghua University for more than three months, and every call is still full of curiosity and excitement. The schedule was full outside class, including participating in the training of the school-department swimming team, participating in the department's scientific research project roadshow briefing, asking counselors and seniors for advice, watching and participating in various competitions of the Horse Cup...there was a wonderful progress.
Emmanur Kant once said: "Growth means seeing what the ideal world should look like, but also knowing how to take care of the actual situation of the real world; learning to use reason to push the real world to move towards the ideal world." Advance to Tsinghua is Feng Weiqi's dream since childhood. 1 Three-in-one Tibet area Hard travel
Our whole family likes travel and photography. During the trip, the children experience more happiness of being a popular person and making more friends. The hard travel of childhood is a precious gift we give to our daughter for the rest of our lives.
The third grade of summer vacation took my daughter into the Tibetan area in northern Yunnan. During the 33-day holiday, we lived in Shangri-La Tibetan Village. During the day, I go to the grassland to pick mushrooms with local Tibetan children, press seesaws on the earthen walls, learn horse riding with local children, do housework with children, tell fairy tales to children at night, watch Disney animations... This experience also makes me think: What are the physical and willful qualities of the children living in the mountain village grasslands?

The fourth and fifth grade holidays after the fourth and fifth grades, we made the hard childhood travel experience solid in the name of learning horse riding and Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon hiking.
I remember the first few days when my daughter learned to ride a horse. She rode the same horse with Tibetan children. After initial adaptation, the excited daughter was eager to imagine riding alone, fully communicate and confirm safety details. She said she would tighten the iron rings and reins on the saddle. If she was not afraid, she would not fall down. Every time she turned, every acceleration or emergency stop, every time she drilled into a low bush, she heard her daughter screaming... This is such an important first experience in life, and synchronizing the growth of children also makes us believe that confidence and courage are achieved through challenging goals, and are won by ourselves, and have nothing to do with parents' preaching.
2 One-cent experience slashing waves slashing waves
Anders Erikson said in his book "Deliberate Practice": The most outstanding people are those who spend the most time in various purposeful practices. "There is nothing else, you can only be familiar with it." Only "deliberate practice" can continuously improve your cognition and ability boundaries.
The child's grandfather is a healthy athlete. He designed a childhood plan for "extracurricular sports and in-class academics" for his granddaughter to synchronize and balanced development. Feng Weiqi started the systematic swimming training at the age of 6, and has completed 5,600 hours and 7,800 kilometers of training in the past 12 years.
From the primary school stage 7 times a week to the persistence of weekly training in the third year of high school, from the first time I won the city championship in 2012 and met the standard national second-level athlete standard the following year, to the National Children's Competition (Guangzhou Competition Zone) 200 self-time champion and Guangdong Provincial Competition 200 self-time champion and met the standard national first-level athlete standard... My daughter's 12-year competitive sports experience has played a positive role in promoting physical and mental health, willpower, competition and cooperation, internal motivation and enterprising spirit.

All pasts are prologue. We often tell my daughter that everyone knows what does right, and the difference depends on who can persist better. Thanks to the experience brought by persistence in swimming. not only allows children to strengthen their bodies and strengthen their will, but also condenses and radiates their children's tremendous youthful power.
3 Efficient learning. Tsinghua
While being a good athlete, striving to be an excellent student is the first label of my daughter. The 12-year swimming training has indeed used a lot of spare time, which forces us to continue to reflect on in the learning practice of accompanying our children, and focus on four habits to help children optimize methods and improve efficiency.

week plan - Before returning to school on the weekend, my daughter will refresh and adjust the next week's plan according to the optimized template, clarify the rolling goal No. 1, clarify the main tasks, corresponding time length and allocation of next week, and implement it self-discipline, proactively and efficiently.
Re-preview - In high school, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and other subjects are pre-studyed before class, and the logical relationship is independently constructed to improve the quality of listening and learning efficiency.
Strong timer - Before daily homework, evaluate the total amount and difficulty and predict the required time, compare it with the time spent after execution, and repeatedly train to enhance the ability to accurately match time and tasks. My daughter calls it "homework exam".
Make a plan - Based on long-term homework timing training, make a good examination room plan before important exams such as the college entrance examination, and face external and self-possible changes in the exam, increase the certainty of stable performance. For example, this year's college entrance examination mathematics calculation volume and difficulty exceed expectations. Use the fixed point method to start the most difficult process C plan when the examination process reaches 40 minutes (the daughter of college entrance examination mathematics designs three sets of ABC plans based on variables such as difficulty and process management) to accurately respond. The daughter calls it "exam algorithmization".
4 Accommodating with warmth and grow together
Finally, let’s talk about our weekly family meetings. In form, it may be a family walk on Friday night or a shared breakfast on Saturday morning. will take out at least 1.5 hours a week to listen to our daughter's sharing.
Praise one of your classmates, praises a teacher for an excellent method, what you learned from yourself this week, share the happiest thing this week, what was the troubles and reflections last week, what is the "Number 1 goal" next week... A topic that parents prepare lessons for this week's regular meeting will also be interspersed in the regular topics.
We often tell our daughter that no one in this world knows you better than you. Please express your opinion after thinking thoroughly. Parents are friends, coaches, and assistants. They switch reasonably in different family education scenarios, scientific companionship promotes children's independent development, and are confident internally and enthusiastic externally.
