Good morning everyone! The topic I communicated is "Implementing the requirements of "double reduction" and letting education "return" to the true nature". " double reduction " and after-school services are people's livelihood projects and political tasks. Our school actively innovates work ideas according to the deployment of the county bureau, adopts the "3350" working method to reduce burdens and increase efficiency, and promotes the comprehensive and healthy growth of students. Over the past year, with the care and support of all leaders, the two tasks of experimental junior high school have initially achieved the expected results. Here are the "double reduction" and after-school service work. We will report to you our superficial practices. If there are any inappropriate aspects, please criticize and correct me.

(I) Homework management achieves "three research", "three unification", "three supervision"
1. Do three research
Conduct special research on homework during collective teaching and research every Monday. The first is content research. Each course group selects, integrates, tests and formulates after-class homework according to the requirements of the curriculum standards to avoid inefficient mechanical homework. The second is stratified research. When designing homework, each course group is required to respect students' differences, and put forward the homework design principle of "the course progress is the same, the number of homework is different, and the questions is the same, and the requirements are different", and teaching is taught according to the aptitude and feeding in different troughs. The third is to implement research. Each course group will brainstorm and innovate strategies and methods for students with different homework and foundations to supervise homework at different levels.
2. Implement three unified
One is the unified subject. Every day, all levels of homework are unified subjects, and no assignments are allowed in subjects that are not arranged. The second is the unified topic. An homework approval system was established, and the course group studied and formulated homework - reviewed by the teaching leaders of the level department - and then approved by the principal of the level department - and finally the homework was assigned by the class teacher. Teachers are not allowed to assign homework privately. The third is the unity of time. The duration of each subject is unified. For assignments that may time out, the assignments will be returned to redesign or cancelled during the assignment review and approval process.
3. Strictly supervise
One is supervision by the package department. Leaders at all levels of departments supervise the assignments of various disciplines at the same level and solve problems in a timely manner when they are found. The second is parental supervision. The school issues a homework list every week, allowing students to record the homework content and completion time on the homework list, and parents evaluate and supervise the assignment of homework. The third is branch supervision. In addition to checking the student's homework list every week, the school also conducts questionnaires on students, criticizes and educates teachers who do not assign homework as required, deducts relevant quantitative points and records in the school party branch.
(II) After-school service is "five in place"
1. Promotion and guidance is in place
Our school issued a "Experimental Junior High School After-school Service Letter to Parents" at the start of each period, informing parents of this project of heart and publicizing the work plan for the school's after-school service on the school's WeChat official account. The school held a parent meeting and a full teacher meeting to conduct face-to-face publicity and interpretation. Parent representative meetings and student representative meetings are held every school month to solicit suggestions for improvement.
2. System management is in place
The school has successively formulated a series of rules and regulations such as "Experimental Junior High School After-school Service Activity Design Inspection System", "Attendance System for After-school Service Safety Management System", and other rules and regulations to supervise and quantify the preparation of activities, the process of activities and the effect of activities one by one.
3. Improve quality to the right
We regard "all staff participation, rich content, flexible students, obvious characteristics, and satisfactory parents" as the overall requirement for after-school service work. Based on the actual situation of the school and tapping into internal potential, we will choose homework tutoring, moral education, club activities, dream courses, quality expansion , theme reading and other activities as service content. 68 clubs of various types were formed to achieve "every teacher has a club and every student participates in a club", which greatly improved students' comprehensive literacy.
4. Security management is in place
We always regard safety as the top priority in the after-school service process. Strengthen the ", one post, two responsibilities, ", and teachers, on-duty teachers, and on-duty leaders carry out security management in different time periods, regions and all aspects.
5. Remuneration is allocated in place
The school conducts a comprehensive assessment of each link of the activity based on the "Experimental Junior High School After-school Service Effectiveness Assessment System". The process evaluation and final evaluation are organically combined as the basis for the payment of after-school service fees.
(III) Ensure zero participation in off-campus subject training
Every teacher signed a "Commitment Letter for Refusing Paid Tutorials with the school party branch, and did not participate, guide, hint, or introduce students to participate in off-campus Tutorials. The school issued the "Notice of Refusing to Participate in Subject Training" to guide parents and students to establish a correct view of educational achievements, rationally determine their children's growth expectations, and do not participate in off-campus subject training.

(I) Improve students' comprehensive literacy
Last school year, our school had students such as Zhang Yibao and Nie Chenyi who were rated as " Good Boys in the New Era ", Zhang Boxian and other students were rated as "The Most Beautiful Filial Boy", and Zhang Jiuling and other students were rated as "The Beautiful Boy in Learning Lei Feng"; in the past year, our school had 2 clubs won the first prize in the city, and 12 clubs won the first prize in the county; the school won the first place in the women's group of the 9th Middle School Campus Basketball League in Nanyang City, the first place in the women's group of the county basketball selection competition, and the first prize in the sixth primary and secondary school campus football league in the county; in 2022, three students who graduated from our school, Zhao Wei, Zhang Zhixiang and Yang Zhen, were admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University. They have gained achievements, health and confidence, happiness and happiness. We deeply feel that "double reduction" and after-school services are superficially reducing time and quantity, but in essence they are creating education that cultivates the soul and building education that comprehensively improves students' comprehensive literacy. "Double reduction" has brought education back to its true nature.
(II) It has promoted teaching and research and curriculum reform
Since the "double reduction" and after-school service work have been carried out, those teachers who "have low classroom efficiency and make up for after-school" have no way out and can only work hard to improve classroom effectiveness, which has promoted the deepening of our school's curriculum reform. The teaching and research atmosphere of "everyone seeks curriculum reform, everyone improves efficiency" has become a trend and achieved remarkable results. Our school has also been rated as the "Nanyang Curriculum Reform Demonstration School".
(III) Improved teaching quality
The students' time at school has decreased and their homework has decreased. We had worried that the teaching quality would decline as a result, but through one year of practice, the teaching quality has not only not decreased, but has been improved to a certain extent. At the end of this year's spring season, the county's unified examination and middle school entrance examination were ranked first in the county's public schools, 20 unified examination subjects, and 15 subjects in our school, achieving a new breakthrough in the school's teaching results and received praise from students, parents, and all sectors of society.
However, the results can only indicate the past and cannot represent the present and the future. Although we have made great efforts, there is still a gap with the requirements of students and parents. "Double Reduction" may rebound. We are well aware of the heavy responsibility. In the new school year, we will continue to deepen and improve the level of "Double Reduction" work, focus on the construction of school characteristics, unite our hearts and minds, work hard, and practice firmly and strive to achieve the overall goal of students' success, teacher growth, and school success.
