——A heartwarming story of the teacher returning to Yihai Shuangfeng Central School
She once studied at Yihai Shuangfeng Central School in Shiwanshan Yao Township, Fangchenggang City (hereinafter referred to as Yihai Shuangfeng Central School). Later, she graduated from Nanning Normal University . Now she has returned to the 100 mountain area. She is the youngest rural teacher in Yihai Shuangfeng Central School and the respectable and lovely teacher Huang Yanjuan, who is the respectable and lovely children.
More than ten years ago, I became acquainted with Yihai Shuangfeng Central School and the Golden Dragon Fish volunteer. After more than ten years, Huang Yanjuan returned her lessons to the children in the mountains and wrote a story about love and dreams.
Starting from the double peaks, the starting point of dreams
In September 2005, 7-year-old Huang Yanjuan became a student at Shuangfeng Primary School in Shiwanshan Yao Township (later became Yihai Shuangfeng Central School). In October 2009, Shuangfeng Primary School became a donor school to the Wilhai Kerry student aid project. In this way, Huang Yanjuan and the Jinlongyu volunteer "get to know each other" in a special way.

Most of the children in the 100,000 mountain areas are left-behind children. More than ten years ago, Huang Yanjuan was also one of the many left-behind children in the class. "It was still very young at that time, and many of my memories were vague, but I still clearly remember that a group of volunteers from Dahai Grain and Oil came to the school. They re-planned and built the school's infrastructure, helped the school improve its teaching and teachers, and accompanied me and my classmates... At that time, I thought, can I do something for the school in the future?"
Under the influence of the teacher's teachings and the Golden Dragon Fish volunteer, the seeds of dreams took root and sprouted in Huang Yanjuan's heart. As she went to a bigger and better school, Huang Yanjuan became more and more aware of the poverty of her hometown's education and urgently needed young and enthusiastic blood to join.
Ten-year agreement, dream return
For graduation internship in 2020, Huang Yanjuan chose to go home without hesitation and returned to the 100,000 mountain area. With the strong support of the Golden Dragon Fish Charity Foundation, Shuangfeng Primary School had developed into Yihai Shuangfeng Central School. "The courses used to be very single, and there was basically no chance to learn physical education and music classes. Even English classes can only be performed once a week. With the continuous help of Jinlongyu volunteers, teachers in various subjects are now more professional, and children's interest classes are richer." Seeing the former school growing from an unknown rural primary school to now with excellent faculty and excellent teaching environment, Huang Yanjuan couldn't help but sigh that the school has changed too much.
After graduation, she chose to stay in this familiar school. "This is the place where I gave birth to and raised me, and my roots are here. I want to help the children here walk out of the mountains and see the world outside the mountains."
Take over the torch, the inheritance of dreams
What does it feel like when a student becomes a teacher? Perhaps all new teachers have this feeling: from fresh to tiredness, it is only one step away! Huang Yanjuan is no exception. There are many left-behind children in the class, and the children need to learn and behave both. Sometimes when they meet naughty children, Huang Yanjuan is angry and anxious, but she understands that these children actually need love deep down. If you want to truly help them, what you need to do is not just impart knowledge.
"Teacher Huang, although you are a little fierce, we know you are for our own good." At the 2022 graduation season activity, the children expressed their affectionate lovely love to their dear teacher Huang Yanjuan, thanking her for teaching herself knowledge and strength with patience and love. Huang Yanjuan said that she hopes that the children will move towards a better future with knowledge and the love of everyone.

In the graduation photo, the young teacher Huang Yanjuan stood with the students, just like the big sister of the children, far from the image of a rural teacher in everyone's impression. Because of its remoteness and backwardness, rural schools lack attractiveness to young teachers and are prone to falling into the dilemma of aging the teaching staff. In recent years, with the support of the government and social forces, some young teachers of Yihai Primary School have begun to choose to go to remote mountain villages to support rural education. At Yihai Shuangfeng Central School, the team of young teachers is growing slowly, and it is precisely because of these young forces who have devoted themselves to the education cause of their hometown that they have brought more hope to education in poor areas and children in mountainous areas.

The story of Huang Yanjuan giving back to her alma mater also inspired the Jinlongyu volunteers, constantly working hard to strive for a better teaching environment and more care for the teachers of Yihai School, to attract and retain more high-quality teacher resources, and help the school strengthen the construction of the teacher team.
