1, Yunnan Normal University
Yunnan Normal University, which can be traced back to 1938, and the National Southwest United University Normal University was jointly established by Tsinghua University , Peking University and Nankai University . In 1946, the three schools returned north and the Normal University stayed in Kunming to establish an independent school. It was named the National Kunming Normal University, and it was affiliated to the Ministry of Education. In 1950, it was renamed Kunming Normal University and in 1984 it was renamed Yunnan Normal University. In 1999, it merged with Yunnan Education College and Yunnan Sports Continuing College and reorganized Yunnan Normal University. 2, Kunming School of Life Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,
2013, Kunming School of Life Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, came to Kunming and established the Kunming School of Life Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. This college is the third off-site professional college established by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences outside Beijing, following Changchun Daheng College and Shenzhen Advanced Technology College . The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, whose main campus is located in Beijing, is an innovative university and a national " Double First-Class " construction university. The predecessor of the school was the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which was founded in 1963. It was officially established in 1978 and is the first graduate school in New China. In June 2012, it was renamed University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
3, Southwest Forestry University
Southwest Forestry University, originated from the Forest Department of Yunnan University in 1938, and independently established Kunming Agriculture and Forestry College in 1958. In 1973, the Forestry Department of Kunming Agricultural and Forestry College and Beijing Forestry College, which moved south to Kunming, merged to run the school and established Yunnan Forestry College, which is directly under the management of the former Ministry of Forestry. In 1983, it was renamed Southwest Forestry College and is one of the six regional forestry undergraduate colleges directly under the Ministry of Forestry. In 2000, the school was delegated to Yunnan Province for management. In 2010, the school was renamed Southwest Forestry University. The school covers an area of 2,550 mu and has more than 25,000 full-time undergraduate students.
4, Beihang Yunnan Innovation Research Institute
2018, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics came to Yunnan and established Beihang Yunnan Innovation Research Institute. The institute is jointly built by Yunnan Province and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and is located in Panlong District, Kunming City. It mainly carries out aerospace and information technology research and high-end talent training. Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a national key university for directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It ranks as a key university for national "Double First-Class", "985 Project", and "211 Project ". Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics was founded in 1952. It was formerly Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It was renamed Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in April 1988.
5, Baoshan Rural Revitalization Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University
2021, Xi'an Jiaotong University came to Baoshan, Yunnan to establish the Baoshan Rural Revitalization Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Xi'an Jiaotong University has a deep relationship with Baoshan . Since 2013, Xi'an Jiaotong University has begun to contact designated assistance to Baoshan. Xi'an Jiaotong University originated from the Nanyang Public School founded in Shanghai in 1896. It was renamed Jiaotong University in 1921. In 1956, the main body of Jiaotong University moved westward to Xi'an. This is the source of Xi'an Jiaotong University . 6, Shandong University Yunnan Innovation Research Institute
2021, Shandong University came to Yunnan and established Shandong University Yunnan Innovation Research Institute. The institute will promote the transformation of Shandong University's scientific and technological achievements in Yunnan and cultivate high-end talents.Shandong University, whose headquarters is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and ranks as a national "Double First-Class", "985 Project" and "211 Project" construction university. Shandong University is the origin of modern higher education in China. It was formerly the Shandong University Hall founded in 1901. It is the second national university founded in China after Jingshi University Hall , and it has set a precedent for higher medical education in modern China.
