Jiangsu Province 2023 General College Entrance Examination Registration Measures
1. Registration object
1. Persons who have household registration in our province and meet the following conditions can apply for registration:
(1) Comply with the Constitution and laws of the People's Republic of China;
(2) Graduated from a senior secondary education school or have the same academic qualifications;
(3) Physical condition meets relevant requirements.
2. Migrant children of migrant workers who are not registered in our province (hereinafter referred to as "migrant children") who apply to take the college entrance examination in our province, in addition to meeting the above conditions, they must also meet the following conditions:
(1) Obtaining an ordinary high school degree in our province and having a complete learning experience in ordinary high school;
(2) Their guardian has a legal and stable occupation and legal and stable residence (including rental) in our province.
3. Foreigners who settle in our province and meet the registration requirements can apply for registration with the "People's Republic of China Permanent Residence Identity Card" issued by the public security organs. Candidates from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who meet the requirements can apply for registration.
4. The following persons are not allowed to register:
(1) Students in colleges and universities with qualifications for general higher education, or students who have been admitted to ordinary universities and retained their admission qualifications;
(2) Students who are not fresh graduates in high school;
(3) Those who are not fresh graduates in high school education are cheating in the year of non-fresh graduation in the senior secondary education stage;
(3) Fresh graduates who have registered for false means and participated in the admission examinations for general colleges and universities in violation of regulations (including the national unified examination, provincial unified examination and the admission examination organized by universities, hereinafter referred to as the college entrance examination);
(4) Persons who have been suspended from taking the college entrance examination for violating the national education examination regulations and are during the suspension period;
(5) Those who have been subject to compulsory measures by relevant departments for violating the Criminal Law or are serving in prison, among which minors shall be executed in accordance with relevant laws.
2. Examination subjects
Candidates' application subjects are divided into ordinary categories, sports categories and art categories.
According to the provisions of the "Notice of the Provincial Government on Issuing the Implementation Plan for Deepening the Comprehensive Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System of Ordinary Colleges and Universities in Jiangsu Province" (Su Zhengfa [2019] No. 31) and the "Notice of the Issuing the Implementation Plan for the Academic Achievement Examination of Jiangsu Province" (Su Zhaopin Committee [2019] No. 1):
Unified Examination Subjects: Chinese, mathematics, and foreign languages, regardless of literature and science, the national paper is used.
Selective examination subjects: Ideological and political, history, geography, physics, chemistry, and biology. According to the requirements of the university and their own specialties and interests, students first choose one of the two subjects in physics and history, and then choose two of the four subjects in ideology and politics, geography, chemistry, and biology. The examination results are included in the total score of the candidates, as the basis for unified college entrance examination admissions.
Students who take the unified college entrance examination can replace the qualification examination for the corresponding subjects with the unified college entrance examination Chinese, mathematics, and foreign language subject examinations.
All candidates who intend to participate in the early admissions of higher vocational colleges in 2023 must obtain the qualification examination results for 10 subjects: Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, and information technology. If candidates do not obtain the qualification test scores for the above 10 subjects, they should register for the corresponding subject examination. If candidates are not satisfied with the qualification test scores they have obtained, they can register for the examination in the corresponding subjects.
Candidates who apply for arts must also choose to register for the professional examination for the corresponding subjects.
3. Registration time and methods
1. The online registration time for candidates is November 1 to 4, 2022 , and the deadline for information confirmation is November 7. The registration URL is www.jseea.cn or gk.jseea.cn.
candidates must pay the registration examination fee when registering. The charging standards shall be implemented in accordance with the "Letter of the Provincial Bureau of Prices on the Charge Standards for the Registration Examination of College Entrance Examinations" (Su Pricing Fee Letter [2010] No. 56) and the "Reply of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Finance on Clarifying the Charge Standards for the General College Entrance Examination and High School Academic Achievement Examination" (Su Fa Reform Fee Letter [2019] No. 414). The registration fee is 20 yuan per person and the examination fee is 26 yuan per person.
The registration examination fee for additional examinations for sports and art majors is implemented in accordance with the "Notice on Adjusting the Fee Standards for Admissions Examinations in Colleges and Universities in Our Province" (Su Jiaocai [2000] No. 23, Su Price Fee [2000] No. 97). The registration fee is 20 yuan per person and the examination fee is 60 yuan per person.
2. Fresh graduates of senior secondary education schools must follow the principle of "the registration examination for the same territorial examination and the qualification examination" and go through the registration procedures at the location designated by the city, county (city, district) enrollment examination institutions.
Previous students, social candidates, and candidates with household registration in our province who borrow from other provinces shall go through the registration procedures at the location designated by the city, county (city, district) enrollment institution where their household registration is located.
All candidates who do not meet the above regulations must go through the borrowing procedures and fill out the "Jiangsu Province 2023 Ordinary College Entrance Examination Application Form" (Appendix 1). The relevant registration procedures can only be completed after review by the registration point and the admissions office of the county (city, district) where the registration is located. The registration, physical examination and application for the college entrance examination candidates shall be the responsibility of the admissions office and relevant departments.
migrant children candidates must submit the "2023 college entrance examination application form for migrant children of migrant workers from Jiangsu in 2023" (Appendix 2) to the current middle school, and then summarize it from the education administrative department and county (city, district) admissions office to which the middle school is studying. Only after the review is approved can the relevant registration procedures be completed.
Foreigners who settle in our province and meet the registration requirements, with passports and the "Foreign Permanent Residence Identity Card of the People's Republic of China" issued by the public security organs, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan candidates who meet the conditions can go through the registration procedures at the locations designated by the admissions and examination institutions of various cities, counties (cities, districts) in our province.
When applying for registration, candidates must sign a letter of integrity commitment, promise that the contents they fill out and the relevant materials provided are objective, true and accurate, and promise that they comply with relevant management regulations when taking the examination and enrollment.
3. When registering, candidates must submit their ID card and household registration book, among which past students must also provide graduation certificates and other relevant documents. Migrant children candidates must also submit the following supporting documents:
(1) Identity certificate. Original and copy of the second generation ID card and household registration book of the candidate.
(2) Proof of stable residence. The original and copy of the house property certificate, house sale contract, lease contract, or the temporary residence permit (residence permit) and other supporting materials of the candidate and his/her guardian in our province.
(3) Guardian employment certificate. The original employment certificate issued by the guardian in the employment unit or community (village committee) of our province.
Candidates who meet the registration requirements must go online to truthfully fill in the registration information and be responsible for the authenticity, accuracy and effectiveness of the content they fill out.
4. Candidates take the college entrance examination registration with their examination number. Candidates who have participated in the academic achievement test of ordinary high schools in our province have obtained their examination number during the examination, and other past students and social candidates, as well as candidates who borrowed from other provinces have obtained their examination number when registering for the college entrance examination. Candidates must use the same examination number for participating in the academic achievement test of ordinary high schools and registering for college entrance examinations in previous years. After all counties (cities, districts) have confirmed all local registration information, the candidate number will be generated for candidates to use in exams, obtain scores, admissions and other related links.
4. Registration process
1. Qualification review
Each city, county (city, district) education administrative departments and admissions examination institutions should strengthen the review of candidates' household registration, registration qualifications, and registration materials in accordance with the spirit of the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in the National Unified Examination of the Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities" (Teaching Department [2005] No. 13) and the "Notice of the Provincial Department of Education on Further Strengthening the Qualification Review of All Types of Candidates in the General College Entrance Examination" (Su Jiao Examination Letter [2020] No. 16), and strengthen the review of candidates' household registration, registration qualifications, and registration materials, especially for candidates holding resident ID cards from other provinces (cities, districts). After the candidates' registration information is confirmed, if they find that there are people who do not meet the requirements to apply, the relevant departments and responsible persons will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the "Regulations on Handling Violations of the National Education Examination" and other relevant regulations.
(1) Education administrative departments or admissions examination institutions at all levels must designate a dedicated person to be responsible for the academic record review of fresh graduates in their regions. Candidates who do not have the academic qualifications of the middle school where the registration site is located must bring relevant materials to the location designated by the admissions and examination institution, and the designated person shall conduct qualification review and registration procedures. The registration qualification review of fresh graduates of ordinary high schools should be conducted before online registration begins. The registration point with a large number of people cannot complete the qualification review before registration, and can also be carried out simultaneously when the candidates confirm the registration information.
List of fresh graduates of ordinary high schools (including name, ID number and other information) is provided by the Basic Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education. Anyone who is not on the list is not allowed to apply for the exam as a fresh graduate of ordinary high schools in our province. If you need to obtain the qualification of a fresh graduate of an ordinary high school in our province, you must be certified by the local ordinary high school academic record management department and obtain electronic student status in the ordinary high school academic record management system, and will be summarized and provided by the Basic Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education.
(2) All past students, social candidates, candidates with household registration in our province who are borrowing from other provinces, candidates with migrant children, and other non-ordinary high school graduates will be reviewed before registration begins. Only after the review is approved can you register online. Candidates who have been admitted to ordinary universities but have not registered or dropped out after registering must submit an admission notice from the relevant universities or provide a certificate of withdrawal when registering.
(3) The registration point must review the candidate's registration qualifications and verify the relevant information of the candidate's second-generation ID card. For candidates who use temporary ID cards and other manual entry of identity information, they can register first, but they must make up for the second generation ID card within a certain period of time, and the registration point administrator will review and confirm again. Candidates who register with their officer certificates, passports and other documents must re-examine and confirm their identity information by the registration administrator.
2. Fill in the registration information collection form
Before registering for the college entrance examination, candidates must review and understand the relevant policies and regulations of the college entrance examination in our province in advance. They can download the "Jiangsu Province 2023 General College Entrance Examination Candidates Registration Information Collection Form" (Appendix 3) on the website of the Provincial Education Examination Institute and carefully read the instructions for filling out the form.

When candidates submit registration information online, the online registration system will perform data logic verification on the candidate's registration information. If a warning or prompt information appears, it means that the column information filled in is incorrect or the relevant scores do not meet the requirements. The candidate must carefully check the filled-in column according to the warning or prompt content and modify it until it is correct. Candidates must approve their latest household registration information and ensure that it is consistent with the current public security household registration information. If the filling out errors, the candidates will be unable to fill in the relevant application in the later stage, and other remaining problems arising from this will be responsible for the candidates themselves.
4. Information modification
After the candidate's registration information is successfully submitted online, before printing the information confirmation form, the candidate can re-surf the Internet with his password to modify the registration information he filled in.
5. Online payment
After the online submission of the candidate's registration information is successfully submitted, the system will automatically generate the amount of the registration examination fee to be paid based on the actual subjects applied for by the candidate. Candidates can pay the registration examination fee according to the approved amount through online banking, Alipay, WeChat, etc. After successful online payment, candidates can sign and confirm the application information at the prescribed registration point.
Candidates who apply for the provincial unified examination for art majors must also pay the corresponding registration examination fee separately.
6. Information confirmation
Candidates who have successfully paid online will print the candidate registration information confirmation form at each registration point. Candidates must go to the registration point designated by the city, county (city, district) admissions examination institution within the specified time to carefully check their registration information. After verification, the candidates themselves will sign and confirm in person on the registration information confirmation form. The deadline for confirming registration information is 17:00 on November 7. Only after candidates register online and submit immediately will the system retain the candidate's registration information. Candidates can only confirm their registration information after successful online payment. Registration information must be signed and confirmed by the candidate himself before it is valid. Registration information that has not been confirmed by the candidate himself is invalid. Once the candidate's registration information is printed and confirmed, no one may change it without authorization. If the information is indeed necessary to be modified due to special circumstances, the candidate himself shall apply to the registration point. After approval, the registration point shall be modified and must be reprinted and confirmed. The confirmed registration information is stored in the candidate's electronic file. The registration information confirmation form after signing and confirmation is retained by the registration point for one year.
7. Electronic photo collection
electronic photo will be the only photo used for the candidate's admission ticket, and will be used for portrait recognition and comparison during the examination and photo review of graduation electronic registration. Photos that do not meet the requirements will affect the candidate's examination and graduation, and the consequences will be borne by the candidate.
electronic photos must be collected according to the ID photo standards. The head accounts for 2/3 of the photo size, which can reflect the facial features of the person and the portrait is clear. The file specification is 480 pixels wide × 640 pixels high, with a resolution of 300dpi, and a 24-bit true color; it should comply with JPEG standards, and the file size after compression is generally between 20KB and 40KB; the file extension should be JPG.
If the candidate has collected photos when registering for the academic level qualification examination and meets the requirements, the photo collection can no longer be carried out when registering for the college entrance examination; if the photo collection has not been taken, the collected photos are different from the person, and the collected photos do not meet the requirements of the ID photo standards, the photos must be collected when registering for the college entrance examination.
5. Application methods for sports and art major examinations
1. Candidates applying for sports and art major examinations must fill in the relevant information of sports or art major examinations when registering for the college entrance examination. After registration is completed, candidates must print their professional examination notice online within the specified time. Candidates shall take the professional examination with their corresponding professional examination notice and their ID card.
2. Candidates applying for the provincial unified examination for art majors in Jiangsu Province in 2023, must confirm and pay the provincial unified examination information of art majors from November 1 to 7. The deadline is 17:00 on November 7. After completing the online payment, candidates must return to the system to check the payment status. Only when the payment status is "paid" can they print the professional examination information confirmation form.
3. Candidates applying for school examinations for art majors in relevant colleges and universities, if the major they apply for is a major covered by the provincial unified examination, they must participate in the provincial unified examination and pass the provincial unified examination results in accordance with the requirements of Jiangsu Province and the enrollment universities, and can only participate in the admission according to the admission rules of the enrollment institutions. 4. Jiangsu Province's 2023 provincial unified examination information confirmation and payment time for sports majors enrollment in general colleges and universities will be notified separately.
6. Relevant requirements for reasonable convenience for disabled candidates to apply for
If disabled candidates to apply for reasonable convenience, they will be implemented in accordance with the "Jiangsu Province 2023 Disabled Candidate Examination Reasonable Convenience Application Measures". See Appendix 4 for details of specific requirements.
7. Application Measures for Candidates Enjoy Care Policy
Anyone who applies for the Care Policy shall be implemented in accordance with the "Jiangsu Province 2023 General College Enrollment Policies for Candidates Enjoy Care Policy". See Appendix 5 for details on specific requirements.
8. Registration methods for other special types of candidates
Application for the strong foundation plan, comprehensive evaluation enrollment, high-level sports team, high-level art troupe, recommended students and other special types of candidates, as well as various types of individual examinations, must not only participate in the college entrance examination registration, but also handle the registration examination procedures to the colleges and universities themselves in accordance with the time and methods specified by the colleges and universities, and the qualification review will be carried out by the colleges and universities.
