As a member of the Red History Education Propaganda Team of the New Fourth Army Research Association in Baoying County, Chen Yihe deeply explores local red resources to continuously enrich the content of the red story.
In 1995, Chen Yihe began to tell red stories before he retired, and it has been 27 years since then. By July this year, Chen Yihe had more than 100 special red stories, and had more than 110,000 educated listeners. In 2021 alone, Chen Yihe told a total of 30 red stories in the judicial system, tax system, education system, and community rural grassroots lecture halls in Baoying County.

In 2001, after his compilation of "Lu Dang Fenghuo", he was deeply loved by readers. In 2017, he added "Lu Dang Fenghuo" (revised version), adding two-thirds of the content.
Starting from mid-July this year, Chen Yihe began to learn short video skills by himself and preach red stories through short videos. Short videos are new things, and Chen Yihe humbly worships others as his teacher. He also used his evening hours to listen to classes on his mobile phone and learned how to use short videos to preach red stories on a larger scale.
Chen Yihe originally planned to do 20 episodes of the show, but at the request of netizens, he continued to add content, and by October 10, he had talked about 31 episodes. At present, the number of red stories played by Chen Yihe has reached 310,000, with the highest number of people reaching 27,000.
In 2021, Chen Yihe was rated as "Jiangsu Province People's Learning Star" by the Jiangsu Provincial Education System. "Life until old age, learn until old age."
