At 10:30, the student was sent to the Aerospace Campus of the Fourth People's Hospital of Xi'an for emergency treatment. At around 11:40, the hospital informed the student that he died after the rescue was ineffective.

Xi'an Qujiang No. 5 Primary School is a public primary school invested and built by the management committee of Qujiang New District in 2020. The school has only been put into use for two years. Previously, Qujiang No. 5 Primary School was involved in a public opinion storm because the school’s comprehensive building was rented out to an art examination institution, which disappointed many students and parents.
Several months apart, Qujiang No. 5 Primary School lost its lives due to poor supervision. As of now, the school has not responded to this incident.
