Hello everyone! I am very honored to be the tutor of the college’s top innovative talent training in 2012.
The topic of my speech today is " How to spend a short four years in college - without whipping your own ". I think these words can be used as motto for each of us. The reason is based on the following points:
There are two golden periods in life. Whether it is brain development or acceptance of new things and innovative ideas, it is nothing more than two critical periods in early childhood and college. Therefore, university life is crucial to a person's future success and happy life. So how do you spend these precious and short four years of life? How to plan your college career?
first, learning method to change as soon as possible.
I think this is the first problem that freshmen need to solve, that is, they can learn. " sharpening the knife does not delay chopping wood " was in the first semester of the freshman year. Learning in primary and middle school depends more on external guidance, supervision and constraints. Learning in college has become more open and free, and conscious initiative is particularly important.
If you want to play an active role in learning, you must also interest-oriented . Interest comes from extensive reading and accumulation of large amounts of information , actively think and ask questions, and communicate with classmates and teachers .
Second, should be positive in learning attitude .
When I was giving a lecture, I found that many students were not positive in their learning attitude. Middle school teachers will ask for class notes, but university teachers do not have this requirement, so no one knows what to remember. (It reminds me that someone used to be fed and only knew how to swallow it. Now no one wouldn't eat it.)
Although the communication network is developed now, I still firmly believe that " A good brain is not as good as a bad pen ". Taking notes can make you active thinking and positive state, and can also prompt yourself to think deeply about so as to communicate with the teacher. Many students want to communicate with teachers, but they can’t even raise the questions. If they can’t raise them well, they must be said to be caused by their lazy attitude.
