Liu Ya, director of the Xichang Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, said that in order to protect the lives, health and safety of teachers and students and maintain overall social stability, the start of the new semester will be postponed and staggered, and all schools will postpone the start of school until after September 5. The specific arrangements for
are as follows:
1. On September 5, high school grades will be registered at a different time and at a different time;
2. On September 6, junior high school students will be registered at a different time and at a different time;
3. On September 7, elementary school students will be registered at a different time.
4. On September 13, kindergartens will register and start at a staggered time and peak;
5. The opening time of Changda technical secondary schools will be uniformly scheduled after September 5. According to the epidemic situation, the provincial and state education authorities will be reported. After approval, the start time of school will be determined.
Liu Ya introduced that the teaching time lost due to the delayed start of school will be made up by the after-school extended service time. If the delayed start of school is too long and cannot meet the actual teaching requirements stipulated in the syllabus, it will be made up by holidays; during the delayed start of school, Teachers will conduct online psychological counseling for students to eliminate the anxiety caused by the postponement of the start of school and ensure that they can study and live with a good and peaceful attitude. During the normal class period when students return to school, all courses will be held in strict accordance with the curriculum standards, and the teaching content will be completed according to the class hour standards. Teaching time for non-examination subjects and students' after-school time will not be reduced or occupied.
