What is the Tathagata?

The Tathagata is the same as the Tathagata, and the Tathagata is our own nature! The Tathagata is birth, and the Tathagata is death. The Tathagata is the phenomenon, and the Tathagata is the phenomenon. Immortality is the essence. What is Tathagata? Tathagata is the Tao.

Is the Tao created through cultivation? The Tao is inherently self-sufficient, original, self-existent, unchangeable, independent and unchangeable. It cannot be created or changed, it can only be recognized.

Therefore, the original meaning of Buddha is the enlightened one, that is, the person who realizes the Tao.

Since ancient times, no one has attained enlightenment through practice.

Just as Zen Master Huangbo said: "Practice the Six Perfections and Ten Thousand Practices in order to become a Buddha, that is the stage. There has been no stage of Buddhahood since time immemorial."

Practice is a state, it is changing, it is impermanent, it is a conditioned method, it is a method of birth and death, and it is endless. Come and do your homework?"

There is no progress in practice, and there is only one thought of enlightenment: "All kinds of magical powers are just small skills, only emptiness is the great way."

If you don’t understand the Tao, how can you cultivate it? What is it you are cultivating? If you don’t know yourself, how can you cultivate yourself? Who is you cultivating? The Tao is ultimate, thorough, and inherently perfect. The Tao is something you understand, not something you cultivate.

The so-called practice first and then enlightenment is actually misleading and is a "law-grasping" based on "self-grasping".

Who is practicing? Who am I? This is the first question that a practitioner should solve.

Awakening is the foundation, practice is the end, and not distinguishing the root and the end is called inversion; awakening is the body, practice is the function, and the body and use are the same, which is called nature. Enlightenment is about solving "who am I", and practice is about making a difference.

Sakyamuni once said:

" is to learn more and more " is to polish bricks to become a mirror, " is the way and the day is to lose " is to practice after enlightenment; polishing bricks to become a mirror is a dream, and practice after enlightenment is to "keep one, embrace one" to dress and eat.

If you practice without enlightenment, you will be bound by delusions all your life. The result is "like dew or lightning, you should observe like this." All kinds of frosts compete for freedom!

The enlightened person’s heart is never separated from the body, and the body and mind are integrated. The heart is where the body is. His heart is fixed on the true nature of life, and "it does not change and does not change according to the circumstances."

Only those who are united in body and mind can be neither happy about things nor sad about themselves, not surprised by favors or disgrace, not forgetful when they are proud, and not pessimistic when frustrated. "No matter the wind or waves, it is better than strolling in the garden."

Before enlightenment, it is "I am living", after enlightenment, it is "I see that I am alive"; before enlightenment, one is a fan of the authorities, after enlightenment, one is a bystander;

Before enlightenment, one is fighting for success, and after enlightenment, it is "There is nothing to gain from the world"; before enlightenment, one looks at the part based on the part and the phenomenon based on the phenomenon; after enlightenment, one looks at the part based on the whole and the phenomenon based on the essence;

Before enlightenment, "I" lived in contradiction, and after enlightenment, "I" lived in contradiction. Afterwards, "I" exists in perfection, and "comes to the world with the Tao...holding one as the form of the world."

Sakyamuni once said:

Enlightened people are real people who live in perfection.

Consummation is not without shortcomings. Consummation is not "patting on the head" or taking it for granted. Consummation is the unity of advantages and disadvantages, right and wrong, good and evil, right and wrong.

Let go of the thought of teaching and helping others. If others benefit from your words, it is not your own fault, but the wisdom of others who can accept it.

Those who are good at teaching others often see the faults of others and appreciate their own "intelligence".

Let go of all the merits and good deeds you have done. Everything is in the past. The kindness of today does not mean the kindness of tomorrow. Try to be compassionate and kind every day, and repent for every wrong thing or wrong thought you did today.

The achievements of teachers do not represent personal achievements.

Let go of the experience of which great master you once worshiped as your teacher, and the experience of how many Dharma masters you have formed a good relationship with. The wisdom and achievements of the teacher do not mean that you can achieve or achieve enlightenment.

The halo belongs to others. We borrow the teacher’s name through it, but if we don’t practice seriously, it will be in vain!

Let go of your desire to be recognized by others. If your heart is affected by external things, your heart will be filled with fear and worry. Advise yourself not to always want to be the best, but to do your best in everything.

Sakyamuni once said:

Perfection is real, perfection is the fact itself. No matter how luxurious the palace is, there are still bathrooms and garbage;

No matter how beautiful the woman is, she still has phlegm, feces and urine;

Mud can give birth to lotuses, and it is also good mud. Perfection itself is like this - "neither dirty nor pure."

Perfect understanding is enlightenment, and enlightenment is seeking truth from facts, and it is the understanding and grasp of the truth of things.

When a person no longer has delusions and views himself and everything with a perfect heart, his heart is calm and he can do what he should do in peace. This is Buddha nature, which is to follow the way of nature and follow the way. The law is natural and natural.

An enlightened person will be very confident because he has found the root of life.

The so-called self-confidence is the ontological understanding of one's own life and the certainty without doubt.

Confidence is not for others to see, self-confidence does not need to be proven, and self-confidence has nothing to do with the outside world. In the words of Zen Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng: "Be able to distinguish between all dharma phenomena well, and remain unmoved in the first meaning."

Enlightenment is to ignite your own life. This life is light, illuminating yourself and others.

There is no darkness in the light. His thoughts are positive no matter what time and under what circumstances. He has the fearless courage to face everything without complaining or complaining. He truly lives in every moment.
