After admiring, and between the heartbeats, I saw the red stamp under the seal in the lower right corner of the screen, and the red stamp on the ink to see the author. Signed ~ Zhang Hong. Oh, it turned out to be the work of Mr. Zhang Hong. Mr. Zhang Hong is a professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts . I have known him for many years. I have always known that he mainly paints characters. He often has some large-scale theme creations. He painted landscapes, flowers and birds, and written well in calligraphy. He has a solid foundation in artistic quality and has won many important art awards. But this time, it made me pay attention to his Buddhist subject matter.

A Buddhist horn,It is the other side. It turned out that he had painted a series of Zen cultural themes over the years, and in 2018 he had already held a solo exhibition of "Silk Road Zen Bridge" in Singapore. The main content of Zen cultural exchanges in the countries along the sea is the Silk Road, which was originally a way for ancient monks to learn from the Buddhist scriptures. This "Zen Bridge" has been built in history. The two large-scale works on display, "Looking for Dreams in the East" and "Towards Coromando", evoke people's contemplation through the tracing of the deep history of the past. The multi-layered ink rhyme in gray tones expresses the mysterious and far-flung sea And the unpredictable sky and the leisurely sense of history. Also on display are some of the works in the "One Thought Quiet" series created by Zhang Hong who accepted the invitation of the University of the Arts in Thailand in 2011 to participate in the "Buddhist Art Collection" exhibition in Bodh Gaya, India, and in 2013 to commemorate the Six Patriarchs Part of the works in the series "Buddha Sea Searching for Fate" created by Huineng. Because the works are derived from the author’s close observation, cognition and understanding of Zen culture, and in-depth thinking, refining and capturing vivid artistic images and iconic scenery, it makes people appreciate deja vu, immersive, authentic and credible The intimacy and resonance of the exhibition have made the exhibition have a greater impact in the local area and have been well received by the society.

br p0 theme,The origin may be traced back to the relationship between him in the Chinese painting research room of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in the early 1990s and the then director of the room, Professor Lin Fengqing. Professor Lin Fengqing not only has high artistic attainments, but also has a good understanding of Buddhism. I am interested and bought a lot of books and materials on Buddhism. I often meditate and practice meditation. I often touch on topics such as Buddhism and meditation in conversations. Many of his works have a quiet and dust-free state. But Zhang Hong didn't have much sense of Buddhism at that time, and he has not deliberately studied Buddhism. Everything is natural. However, it cannot be said whether the seeds of Buddha's predestined relationship have been subtly planted in Zhang Hong's heart at that time.
"line of thinking set one of five"
Looking back, many things seem to have intersected inadvertently. Many years ago, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts organized teachers to go to Thailand for exhibitions and collections. At that time, the curator of the Royal Thai Academy of Arts (Thai Art University) Art Museum said There is Buddha nature in Zhang Hong's paintings, and Zhang Hong doesn't care too much. Two years later, Thailand University of the Arts invited Professor Zhang Hong and Professor Wang Jian from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts to attend the Buddhist Conference in India and held the "Buddhist Art Collection" exhibition. The inviting party was responsible for the expenses. Nearly 30 artists from eight countries including Thailand, India, China, and the United States were invited to gather in Bodh Gaya, India for exchange and creation.

live in India ten days,After the artists burn incense and worship every day, they either create and communicate in art workshops, or take to the streets or into Buddhist temples to collect materials. In Bodhgaya, the holy place of Buddhism, there are Buddhist music and sutras floating in the sky from time to time. Pilgrims, tourists and believers from all over the world, as well as walking lamas, monks, and young novices, although different clothes, different outfits, different skin colors, Different dynamics, but presents a calm and self-contained or reverent manner of worship. Zhang Hong carried a shoulder bag and held a camera, sometimes using the lens to capture, sometimes using a pen to sketch, feeling and recording the fresh amorous feelings in that unique environment. But day by day, he has also grown from novelty to infection, whether it is the lush evergreen bodhi tree or meditating meditators and devotees walking around the pagoda and Buddhist temples, whether it is chanting chanting to the Buddha or holding it. Worshiping with incense and looking up to the Bodhisattva... Zhang Hong felt more and more peaceful in his body and mind, and had a wonderful experience in his mind.

In 2018, the two solo exhibitions of “Yi Fu is the same” held at Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum, the tile paintings are displayed in the cabinet
After returning to China, Zhang Hong's works began to have many Buddhist themes. He not only depicts the Buddhist holy places in his mind, but also depicts the occasional aura and enlightenment; he walked into Nanhua Temple and Hualin Temple, etc. Buddhist monasteries, he researched the religious influence beyond the economic influence of the Silk Road, he went from Nalanda in India to the "Xilai Chudi" in Guangzhou, he went from the sea silk road of and Dharma to the land silk of Xuanzang road,He is constantly looking for inspiration and materials from the footprints of the Tang monk of Qiuci to the murals of the Zir Caves; he conceived and created a series of ink comics with the theme of Xuanzang's Scriptures, and named it "Xuan Zang Returning to the West". When he created and exchanged in the Indian art workshop last time, he visited Nalanda Temple, Qiye Grottoes, Lingjiu Mountain and other places where Xuanzang studied Buddhist scriptures. In recent years, he has continuously searched for historical records, combed the information in depth, refined the content elements, and planned to use 30 pictures to express, and accompanied by carefully refined text introduction, to combine and express in the form of a similar album. He has completed a part of the creation of this group of ideas. The text is written in small letters, and the screen and text are designed to form an integral layout that composes each other. They are both individually painted and combined into a book. He said that Xuanzang's contribution to Buddhist history and Indian historiography was highly praised by the local Indian community, which made it famous in the local area. Zhang Hong was also particularly touched by Xuanzang's process of learning the scriptures. After more than 1,300 years, he walked through the tunnel of time and was able to stand in the same place as Master Xuanzang facing the birthplace of Buddhism. He hopes to show the historical events of Xuanzang's hard work and hardships going west, and then resolutely returning east after learning.

br0p21 Religious paintings of the past 21 The works have different feelings, the sense of presence, the kind of empty inspiration, the kind of being on the scene, the kind of silence and wonder, the kind of accuracy and vividness, the kind of desire to tell...; this is due to his Buddhist themes The creation does not originate from the study of traditional domestic religious paintings, but goes to the source of Buddhism, to the scene of the holy place of Bodhgaya, to feel there, observe there, to gain personal enlightenment, and then to draw the touch in the heart. And as a well-known figure painter at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, he is very good at capturing some iconic scenery and typical dynamics and special characters. He has a strong ability to observe and refine and a strong sense of "instant"; especially after he switched from a meticulous painter to freehand creation, he paid great attention to details and atmosphere in his creation. Shadow, but he has exerted his comprehensive ability of personal spirituality and artistic accomplishment. He uses the organic transformation of fine brushwork to make the ink used in his creation have levels, changes and meanings, and the expression of artistic conception can be expressed in detail; Brings out his long-term training ability that is good at observation. Although it is a few freehand brush strokes, it is both expressive and not rigid. The parts are vivid and the whole is very attractive. The brush can see the ink and the charm, and the content sees people and things. See emotion.

Buddhas in the ten directions, a house of clear dreams. Although Zhang Hong's paintings on Buddhist subjects are mostly a few strokes, mostly boneless pen and ink, and most of them are like gold, but they are light and elegant in appearance, transparent and pure, smart and free, and the meaning and rhyme are similar; he He draws slowly, draws with great care, stops drawing, and thinks as he draws. He only starts pens when he has a feeling. He pays no attention to quantity but quality; every stroke looks easy, but every stroke is very sophisticated Each group of ink looks very casual, but each group of ink is used very accurately and appropriately; he generalizes the image of art, and integrates history, Zen culture with mood, and painting art, so his works look like It is so rich and distant, respectful and strict, clear and clear; it is really mellow and unobstructed, and it is heart-warming, which makes people happy.
