Recalling Wenzhou Road (Part 2)
Speaking of the south of the road, let’s talk about the north of the road. It's only now that I'm "from east to west". Now the Xinhua Bookstore and the west building were originally the vegetable field of a small village. It is the harvest season, and huge kohlrabi are like countless "green balls" floating in the vegetable fields. We are really using the headscake as a ball to throw it.
vegetable field westward, it is called "cooked" by island city people, and the name "electronics company".
To the west is next to it, three or five small courtyards and low houses along Wenzhou Road.
Going west further west is the "South Door" that accompanied me through my childhood. (I just looked back and saw that the actual reality is the boundary of the long-distance station.) "South Dormitory" is a group of stone houses built almost entirely of stones. The stones are yellowish-brown. Standing by the wall, there is a touch of the cliff wall standing. The stone house has a suspected "Siheyuan" model. One hospital is next to the other, seven or eight meters away from the side of Wenzhou Road, and it is lined up north in three rows. There is a large alley in the vertical direction, and there are two alleys in the horizontal direction. The alley was full of my young footprints. The courtyard is generally divided into six or seven households. My family lives in courtyard No. 6. "South Dormitory" is the only large-scale residential house on Wenzhou Road. It is a railway staff dormitory, some say it was built in Japan.
No. 6 courtyard is close to the road, leaving behind my childhood play and happiness. There are also memories of the "Cultural Revolution" storm. trucks of big sisters and brothers wearing "red armbands" (Red Guards) were rushing past Wenzhou Road. But we children are chasing and scrambling, and they throw away colorful flyers flying all over the sky.
Of course, the most beautiful memory is that in front of the gate of the No. 5 courtyard, there is always an old man basking in the sun. He had a gray beard, sitting on a tall horse stool, holding a long cane in his hand. I can't forget it. He took the crutch and drew us a big horse with a lively stroke...
The west side of the "South Dormitory", which is the westernmost end of Wenzhou Road, is also the Qingdao Bus Terminal that everyone knows and almost everyone has visited. The bus terminal was rebuilt and expanded on the original site. When we were young, we friends would stand next to the south gate of Wenzhou Road, the only long-distance station. Watching, counting one, one, a long-distance bus from the station with his fingers. And watching them turn left, they must also turn left and drive east along Wenzhou Road...
