Google Play game launches a public beta version in the United States today, allowing testers to try to play Android games on their PCs. Google launched the initial beta version of the software on Windows PC earlier this year, but it is limited to South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Today's launch has expanded the testing services to the United States, Canada, Mexico , Brazil , Indonesia, Philippines , Malaysia and Singapore.

Available games include 1945 Air Force, Blade Idle, Cookie Run: Kingdom and Evony: The King’s Return, which synchronizes progress between a PC and a mobile device, so you can continue your game on different platforms. Although Google continues to add games to the Play Games directory, there are currently only 85 games to choose from around the world.

"We are excited to expand our platform to more markets so that players can enjoy their favorite games on Google Play," said Arjun Dayal, director of Google Play Games. "As we move towards full release, we will continue to add new features and evaluate feedback from developers and players."
Google Play Games and Microsoft have been doing the work of bringing Android applications to Windows 11. Microsoft chose to partner with Amazon to directly provide games and applications from the Amazon Appstore in its latest operating system. Microsoft has built an underlying Windows subsystem for Android in Windows 11, but Google has created its own separate app to bring its Google Play Android games to your PC.
