Twitter will let users display a list of NFT markets for certain platforms, including a button to let them buy and sell collections.
social media platform Twitter announced today that it will work with four markets to allow users to buy, sell and display NFTs directly through tweets.
This integration, known as NFT Tweet Tiles, displays NFT's works on a dedicated panel in the tweet and includes a button that allows users to click onto the market list.
This integration (still under testing) is currently available for partnership with four specific partners' markets. Solana-centric market Magic Eden, multi-platform NFT market protocol Rarible, Flow blockchain creator Dapper Labs, and sports-centric platform Jump.trade.
Overall, these markets span several blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Flow, Polygon, Tezos and Immutable X.
A Twitter representative confirmed to Decrypt that the feature has nothing to do with blockchain, so all networks support it as long as the link comes from a cooperative market.
The representative added: "The feature is currently being tested on some Twitter users on iOS and the web". If these users are in the test group, they will see the integration of NFT Tweet Tile. You do not need to subscribe to Twitter Blue Premium with this feature.
Twitter previously supported NFT as a validated profile picture through its Twitter Blue subscription service in January, but it currently only supports Ethereum NFT.
