First of all, let me briefly use the mechanism of electromagnetic influence of ultra-high voltage lines to popularize. When the ultra-high voltage line is running, charged charges will be generated around the wire, and these charges form electric fields in the space; if there is a current passing through the wire, these currents will generate magnetic fields in the space. This is what is commonly referred to as electromagnetic field.

So is the electromagnetic environment of the ultra-high voltage circuit harmful to the human body?

Domestic and foreign scientific research institutions have shown that the electric field of the transmission line will not cause harm to cells, tissues, and organs; it has been under the electric field for a long time and no biological impact on blood images, biochemical indicators and organ coefficients are found. The influence of

magnetic field is mainly related to magnetic field strength . The magnetic field strength around the ultra-high voltage line is approximately the same as the magnetic field strength of the earth's inherent magnetic field, hair dryer, TV, etc. Some experts compared the magnetic field strengths of different electrical appliances in life. Taking the hair dryer we are familiar with as an example, the magnetic field strength generated by a hair dryer with a power of 1 kilowatt is 35×10-6 Tesla (the unit of magnetic induction intensity in the international system of units), which is similar to the magnetic field of our earth.

The magnetic induction intensity in the area around the ultra-high voltage circuit is between 3×10-6~50×10-6 Tesla. That is to say, when the magnetic field around the ultra-high voltage circuit is the strongest, it is just equivalent to two hair dryers blowing in your ears. Compared with the magnetic field of the earth itself, we live every day, it is even more "pressure-free".

In addition, according to electromagnetic field theory , when the size of an electromagnetic system is equivalent to its working wavelength, the system will effectively emit electromagnetic energy into the space. The gear distance size of the ultra-high voltage line is much smaller than this wavelength, and it does not constitute an effective electromagnetic energy emission, and its operating frequency is also much lower than the power limit of electromagnetic radiation specified by the state. And in the documents of international authoritative organizations, the electric field and magnetic field generated by AC transmission and distribution facilities are clearly called industrial frequency electric field and industrial frequency magnetic field, rather than electromagnetic radiation.
