Freud in his Psychological Theory , personality structure theory , Libido theory , , psychological defense mechanism theory , based on his dream interpretation theory . An important basis of his dream interpretation theory is the dynamic principle of psychological process . In Freud's view, the psychological process is motivated and has a tendency to release the energy associated with it. Therefore, all the subconscious impulses are seeking the window to vent . But this subconscious impulse is often vented in different ways, and Dream is also a special way of venting .
"Dream is the satisfaction of wishes" This is the most basic point of view of Freud's dream interpretation. Freud believes that dreams do not necessarily indicate what the future will be, but it may indicate what the past will be. He believes that dreams are the satisfaction of human desires. There may be three situations for satisfying this way;
(1) The wishes are directly satisfied . If you dream of eating, you just leave a restaurant and enter another restaurant, and you want to eat anything you see. This is most likely because your abdomen was empty at that time and you really needed to eat.
(2) is the reverse satisfying of the wish . If you dream of getting a bonus, you will be ecstatic. Then the fact may be that today's unit evaluation is advanced, and you really want to get no share of yours, which is what the Chinese call "anti-dream".
(3) is a symbol of wish to satisfy . For example, a man had the same dream for two consecutive nights, dreaming that he was riding a horse. Every time he rode on it, he was thrown off by a horse. He always wanted to tame it, but he couldn't tame it in the end. The psychologist said, "Have you been chasing a girl recently, but you are often treated coldly?" The gentleman couldn't help but admire her very much.
Dream analysis method usually directly analyzes your dreams, because the things you dream of have their symbolic meaning. Common analysis is as follows:
(1) Dreaming of flying in the sky or floating in the air
See yourself flying in the sky or floating in the air in the dream, Subconsciously may want to escape from somewhere . It is reported that 50% of people have had this kind of dream.
(2) In a dream, you are worried about something
often reflects the anxiety of dreamers in recent times, and most people will have this kind of worrying dream. Women who dream of this kind account for 78% while men only account for 63%.
(3) You dream of attending a certain gathering or social event
Thirty-one percent of people have had this kind of dream. There may be two forms of dreams. One is that the dreamer is happy in the dream, and the other is that he is restless in the dream. This kind of dream is usually differentiated due to differences in personality such as introversion or extroversion.
(4) You dream of a strange or strange house
This kind of dream is confusing but very common (about 31%). People who dream will find themselves in a strange house with many empty rooms. Psychoanalysts believe it is a disguised dream and has something to do with sex, but this statement is unacceptable. The current explanation is that due to excessive irritability in real life, it is reflected in dreams. Usually, people who have this type of dream will find things that they cannot get in reality in dreams .
(5) You are chased by someone in your dream
More than 70% of people have the experience of being chased or following in their dreams, and they cannot escape from there for some reason in their dreams. This kind of dream is usually caused by extreme worries or setbacks in real life.
(6) Dreaming of falling down from a high place
Dreaming of falling down from a high place is a common dream, with a ratio of 75%. A typical dream is when you trip over something in a dream, you accidentally trip and fall down, and then you wake up. Psychoanalysts believe that this has no significant relationship with emotion, because the muscles suddenly spasm is reflected in the half-dream and half-awake state .
Of course, everyone has a different symbolic understanding of dreams, and the final explanation may be different. Therefore, we must fully understand the client's living environment, living habits, and psychological state, and combine this information to analyze.
