The first domestic "Body Anxiety" theme exhibition will be held from May 14th to June 14th, 2021 in Shanghai Organised by the Malayan Art Museum. This exhibition is planned by the eating disorder public welfare blogger and her curatorial executive team. It brings together young artists, well-known media brands, professional medical professionals, patients with eating disorders, and those affected by body anxiety. x Interactive x Market] Under the comprehensive mode of , it creates a healing and warm atmosphere, provides a cognitive perspective including professional popular science information, and helps self-reconciliation. The
exhibition takes "body anxiety" as its theme, and discusses related topics such as "white youth and thinness", "dieting culture" and "self-objectification" through video, painting, performance art, art installation, poetry, digital media art and other art forms , and popularize the psychological problems of eating disorder (including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder).The
pavilion area will be divided into five themes, "The Beginning of Body Anxiety", "Extreme Changes in Dieting and Gluttony", "The Birth of Compensatory Behaviors" " "Determination to Recover" and "Better Self-Identity", simulating "Body Anxiety- Eating Disorders-Self Redemption and Reconciliation", the universal psychological change process , takes visitors into the inner world of people who are caught in the whirlpool of body anxiety and eating disorders, and experience their feelings from hardship and struggle to self-healing.
