Nanchong City Mind and Body Hospital successfully held Gaoping District First Mental Health Science Popularization Competition

On July 5, 2022, Gaoping District’s first Mental Health Science Popularization Competition was hosted by Gaoping District Health Bureau and hosted by Nanchong City Mind and Body Hospital. The class activity was held in Xiaolong Campus, and 15 contestants from Gaoping District Psychiatric Hospital and primary medical institutions participated in the competition. In his speech, An Xianyong expressed his gratitude to the organizer, Gaoping District Health Bureau, and congratulated on the launch of the mental health science popularization competition. In his speech, Li Jun put forward specific requirements for Gaoping District's mental health prevention and management, community rehabilitation of mental disorders, and the construction of a psychosocial service system.

The competition is conducted in the form of on-site explanations. With the theme of "Publishing Psychological Science and Protecting Healthy Mind and Body", contestants gave wonderful explanations on hot issues such as stress management, sleep disorders regulation, and the management and treatment of patients with severe mental disorders. . The contestants conveyed mental health knowledge and concepts to the guests present through vivid language, PPT, short videos and other forms, and won warm applause.

After fierce competition, a total of 9 first, second and third prizes were decided. Participants Liao Yujia and Hou Farong from the Mind and Body Hospital won the first and second prizes respectively.

In the next step, Mind and Body Hospital will take the opportunity of promoting Nanchong City "Right Heart" health project to strengthen the publicity and promotion of mental health science, improve the mental health science popularization ability of medical staff, and improve the mental health literacy level of the people in the city.
