Pneumoconiosis is the number one occupational disease in my country. Many workers need to wear high-grade dust masks to protect their health at work. Dust masks are also called anti-particulate respirators. For workers, the higher the protection level of the dust mask, the better the protection effect. Therefore, it is not enough for workers to use KN95 masks with a filtration efficiency of 95% to prevent pneumoconiosis. Only the higher-level KN100 masks can achieve efficient protection.

The protection level of dust masks is divided by my country's respiratory protection standard GB2626-2019 "Self-priming filter type anti-particle non-respirator". In the standard, dust masks are divided into three different levels: KN100, KN95 and KN90, of which KN100 is the highest level. For non-oily particles with particle sizes above 0.075 microns, KN100 grade has a filtration efficiency of more than 99.97%, KN95 grade has a filtration efficiency of 95%, and KN90 has a filtration efficiency of 90%. For most workers to prevent pneumoconiosis, the filtration efficiency of KN95 masks is much lower than that of KN100 masks, and the protective effect is naturally not as good as the latter.

Pneumoconiosis has become the number one occupational disease in my country. Workers need to wear high-grade dust masks to stay away from pneumoconiosis. The filtration efficiency of KN95 masks is only 95%, and KN100 masks with higher protection level are the final choice for workers.
