The four-way shuttle truck system only needs to increase the number of shuttle trucks, and the overall cost is lower.
Three- and four-way shuttle vehicles are suitable for low-flow and high-density storage, as well as high-flow and high-density storage. It can maximize efficiency, cost and resources.
4. The cost of a multi-layer shuttle vehicle or stacker system is closely related to the number of tunnels. When the order volume is increased and the inventory volume is not increased, the corresponding cost will be increased for each tunnel of these systems. The four-way shuttle vehicle system only needs to increase the number of shuttle vehicles, and the overall cost is lower.

Generally speaking, the single-machine price of a four-way shuttle car is higher than that of a multi-layer shuttle car, but the utilization rate of a four-way shuttle car is high, the actual number of required, and the number of supporting elevators is also small; in terms of shelves, the two are roughly the same, and the shelves of a four-way shuttle car are slightly more expensive; the multi-layer shuttle car in front of the warehouse is more complicated; the software four-way shuttle car is much more complicated.
