Comrade Matsuno Katsuhiro
New Fourth Army
In the anti-Japanese battlefield, there was a group of people who were "Japanese devils" who pointed their guns at the Chinese people, but later they fought with Japanese imperialism; although they had "loyalty to the Emperor", they finally chose to stand on the side of justice; they once believed in the spirit of Bushido , but they turned into firm anti-war warriors. This group of Japanese soldiers is affectionately called "Japanese Eighth Route Army" or "Japanese New Fourth Army" by the Chinese military and civilians.
During the Anti-Japanese War, our party transformed a large number of stubborn Japanese soldiers into righteous men through effective prisoners of war work. According to statistics, in the eight-year war of resistance, our army captured more than 6,200 Japanese soldiers. Through transformation, hundreds of Japanese soldiers rushed to the front line of the Anti-Japanese War, 36 of whom died on the battlefield.
During the Cheqiao Campaign in March 1944, Matsuno Satoshi, a member of the Su-Central Branch of the "Japanese People's Anti-War Alliance", was buried in the land of Huaian, Jiangsu.
Matsuno Sato was born in 1918 in a mechanical worker family in Yupin, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He used to work in a shipyard. In January 1940, he was conquered into the Maruyama Brigade Hiraki Squadron and became a corps. On December 8, 1941, he was attacked by the Eighth Regiment of the Third Brigade of the New Fourth Army in Shuanghui Mountain ( Rudong County ) and was captured.
Because the Japanese army has been conducting a lot of brainwashing the soldiers and making false propaganda on the soldiers, the Japanese soldiers believe that the Communist Party should dig eyes, cut off the nose, and peel them when they catch the Japanese soldiers. Therefore, Japanese soldiers would rather commit suicide on the battlefield than be captured. Because of this, Matsunoshima was captured and made a big fuss. He gave him food, but he didn't eat it, and he wouldn't leave even if he died. The soldiers of the New Fourth Army had to borrow a door panel and tie him up and carry him away.
But after living with the New Fourth Army for several months, his mind changed a lot. Matsuno Katsu discovered that no one in the New Fourth Army discriminated against him, and the Communist Party was not the Japanese army who promoted the illiterate and barbaric bandit armed forces. Many people had tap pens on them, and some had studied in Japan. They were very familiar with the history of Bushido Spirit and Japan. The enemy engineering chief Cheng Yewen and political instructor Song Zhiguang talked to him in Japanese, and even deputy commander Ye Fei and brigade commander Tao Yong of the 3rd Brigade even invited him to dinner. At the dinner table, Ye Fei once said to him kindly: "You Japanese like to eat eggs! Come on, eat more." Tao Yong also said kindly: "I just came here and I don't get used to it. If you come here, we can consider solving it."
In the spring of 1942, Matsuno Jue came to the division headquarters from the Third Brigade. One day, Matsuno Katsuya and several Japanese (here are soldiers of the New Fourth Army) who had been liberated two or three years ago (here were soldiers of the New Fourth Army) argued whether the Japanese army was a "aggressive". He believed that the Japanese army should not be called "aggressive". The first Japanese soldier captured by the New Fourth Army, Takata, was seriously injured by the New Fourth Army's personal experience of saving his life by the New Fourth Army and the various evil deeds of the Japanese army, which made Matsuno Katsuya have a preliminary understanding of the "Japanese devil".
In the enemy's Ministry of Industry, Matsuno Katsu saw with his own eyes a Japanese soldier named Yamamoto captured by the Third Brigade suffering from the highly contagious "Japanese dysentery", but was carefully taken care of by Cheng Yewen, the chief of the Japanese-speaking enemy engineering department. He was very moved. Because the New Fourth Army lacks medical treatment and medicine, he can only be sent back to the Japanese army for treatment... But soon, from the Japanese soldiers captured in a battle near the dig port, they knew that after Yamamoto returned, not only did not receive treatment, but was locked in a gun tower and burned to death by the firewood raised.
Yamamoto's death angered Matsuno Katsu, and he said angrily: "The Japanese army is not a human, it is a devil! "
See Matsuno Katsu clearly the essence of Japanese imperialism, and love to read the only two html books in the division department 4-day novel " Crab Boat " and "The Street Without the Sun" . Thinking of his past experience in the factory, he hated that this war not only brought suffering to the Chinese people, but also brought suffering to the Japanese people. He missed his mother and younger sister who suffered in Hiroshima ... I hope to end this war as soon as possible - he became cheerful and lively.
Through learning, he gradually recognized the crimes of the war of aggression against China and took the initiative to strictly demand himself as a member of the New Fourth Army.
One day, when the allowance was given, Matsuno Katsu ran to find Minister Chen, put a stack of banknotes on the table, and said happily: "Minister Chen, I don't want meat stickers!" At that time, life was very difficult. In order to take care of Japanese comrades, the troops sent "meat stickers" of four or five kilograms per month. Minister Chen said to Matsuno Jue, "This meat sticker is a legal enjoyment and the care of the leader. Enjoy what you should enjoy!"
"No!" Matsuno Jue saw that Minister Chen did not accept the "meat sticker", and immediately put away his smile: "Minister Chen, don't we believe in communism? I work in the New Fourth Army for the liberation of the Chinese people and for the liberation of the Japanese people. Why do I still have special enjoyment? Like Chinese comrades, I also require formal participation in the New Fourth Army."
Soon, in view of Matsuno Jue's performance, the organization approved his request and accepted him as a real New Fourth Army soldier. In the autumn of 1942, the Japanese Anti-War Alliance established the Central Su Branch, and Matsuno Satoshi was elected as the branch propaganda committee member. Whenever he went there, he would write and mimeograph and mimeograph leaflets. Soon, the Central Soviet Branch of the Japanese People's Liberation Alliance was established in northern Jiangsu, and seven members swore to join the Japanese Communist Party organization, and Matsuno Satoshi was also one of them.
In 1944, the New Fourth Army began to launch a military offensive against the enemy, and Japanese comrades cooperated with our army to actively launch a battlefield political offensive.
During the break of a battle, Matsuno Katsu touched the barbed wire 50 meters away from the enemy's stronghold, picked up the horn and shouted loudly: "Hey, comrades, my name is Matsuno Katsu, from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. I will talk to you on behalf of Anti-war Alliance , please don't shoot!"
"Bastard, do you remember what day was yesterday?" A rough voice in the bunker started to curse.
"Yesterday was the founding anniversary." Matsuno Katsuki replied seriously, "This is a glorious history created by the working people of our country, not created by the Japanese Emperor and the army. It is precisely in order to maintain this glory and for the happiness and joy of the people that I have come to ask you to stop the war and oppose the war that harms the country and the people."
"You have completely forgotten the Yamato soul!" The Japanese army carried out Yamato soul.
"I haven't forgotten Yamato Soul!" Matsuno said with confidence, "Look, under your gunshots, there are tears and curses from your parents and wives. Is this Yamato Soul? Is your family better? Is it as painful as my family? Is this Yamato Soul again?" The enemy had nothing to say, and was angry and suddenly shot several times "Bao, Ba".
"Why do you need to shoot?" Bullets flew over Matsunoshima, and he still shouted calmly, "You must give up the spirit of Bushido! I will speak to you on behalf of the interests of the Japanese workers and peasants, why do you need to shoot?"
Matsunoshima took the risk and explained patiently: "Look at, some people in China do not work and enjoy themselves every day. Most of the working people work hard all day, but they cannot eat enough, wear warm clothes, and cannot stay. What is the Emperor? It is the biggest landlord!"
The Japanese army was very silent, not shooting guns or speaking. Matsuno Katsu took this opportunity to sing a Japanese song "War is Painful". After singing, laughter and applause came from the bunker.
The persuasion in this war lasted for more than two hours until 3 a.m. when Zhao Jiashe was captured by us. When Matsuno Katsu left the line of fire, he inserted a big sign in front of the Japanese stronghold, and the big words on the sign read: "Comrades-in-arms: I wish you all good health to return to the country!"
In March 1944, the 1st Division of the New Fourth Army launched the world-famous Cheqiao Campaign, and Matsuno Katsu participated in the battle. He wore a gray top hat, a blue cloth cotton jacket, and a backpack on his back, and rushed to the front line with the commanders and fighters of the Seventh Regiment.
At midnight on March 5, after the battle started, Matsuno Taki and his comrades were hiding behind a grave next to the bridge, and the shells emitted by the enemy's grenade launcher exploded around him, splashing sparks. When the large wall was broken through, he quickly climbed over the wall with the comrades of the grenade team and rushed into the streets. In the early morning of the morning, there was only the last enemy fortress left. He suddenly lifted up his cotton jacket, tied it around his waist, held the trumpet, and ran to the regiment commander Chen Chaohuan and said, "Chief, I ask to save my compatriots. In any case, take me to the front line. I want to shout to my compatriots again."
Commander Chen agreed to his request and took him to the front line. In the occupied fortifications, the comrades told him: "Comrade Matsuno, be careful that they fired cold guns!" He smiled and said, "It doesn't matter!"
Then he picked up the loudspeaker and shouted. At this time, the Japanese soldiers who were paralyzed and deceived by the Japanese military headquarters pointed their ruthless gun at Comrade Matsuno. At first he reluctantly endured it and still shouted to his fellow soldiers. However, the crazy Japanese soldier aimed the gun at him and shot. Comrade Matsuno Katsuki's hearts burned in his anger when he faced the brutal Japanese soldiers. He picked up a rifle and went straight to the battle.
His shooting skills were very accurate, and he fired two consecutive shots, killing two stubborn Japanese devils. When firing the third shot, only one Japanese was injured, and it was not fatal. Matsuno Katsu immediately pushed the fourth bullet, just as he was about to aim and shoot. Suddenly, he found that the Japanese in the bunker were holding a gun and trying to come here. Matsuno Satoshi immediately pressed his body to the company commander Chen Chaofan beside him. The bullet hit him in the head, and Matsuno Sato died on the spot, at the age of 26.
Matsuno Satoshi said to a Japanese soldier who joined the army in the same year as him and was later liberated by the New Fourth Army: "In order to defeat Japanese fascism and to save my compatriots, if I die, it is also my wish." Matsuno Satoshi fulfilled his oath with his heroic and decisive actions.
The Suzhong Branch of the Japanese Anti-War Alliance Masahi Hamanakakura said sadly: "Comrade Matsuno Sato shed all his last drop of blood in the battle between Cheqiao, adding a glorious page to the combat history of the Suzhong Branch of our Anti-War Alliance."
former deputy commander of the 1st Division of the New Fourth Army and commander-in-chief of the Frontline of the Cheqiao Battle in Comrade Ye Fei pointed out in the article "The Glorious Page of the History of Anti-Japanese War in Central China - The Battle of Cheqiao Battle in Suzhong": "Comrade Matsuno Sato's battlefield shouting is the truth. The voice shocked the heartstrings of those Japanese soldiers far away from their homeland, shook their morale, and reduced their morale, and felt homesick and war-weariness. His sacrifice will inspire our army commanders and fighters to fight more bravely. The people will always miss the martyr Matsuno Aoshi and the anti-war alliance members of that year. In the darkest era of Sino-Japanese relations, it was their heroic struggle that connected the hearts of the people of the two countries into a bond of friendship..." comrade Matsuno Aoshi and many of his Chinese comrades were buried in Cheqiao Town, Huai'an District, Huai'an City.
In 2009, Matsuno Sato was selected as the " Jiangsu hero and model figure who made outstanding contributions to the New China ".
