A long and short half century has covered the records of the Zhenbao Island incident. Now that fierce bloodshed and armed conflicts have become the past in history books and the text in archives. Our country received assistance from the Soviet people at the beginning of its founding.
Chairman Mao said that although the experts and people of the Soviet Union were still poor in those years, they still provided great help to China's education, science and technology and industrial and agricultural construction. However, the wrong route of individual leaders in the Soviet Union's revisionism also made China-Soviet go against each other.
The one that focuses the most on the world is the Zhenbao Island incident. After the outbreak of the Zhenbao Island incident, the former "Big Brother of the Soviet Union" became today's "strong enemy". Although Chairman Mao could not bear to hurt the hearts of the Soviet people, he also made an amazing combat plan for self-protection. This is also the only battle in which our army is preparing to use the nuclear weapon .
Chairman's strategic plan is amazing
In March 1969, after the outbreak of the Zhenbao Island conflict, China and the Soviet Union once had a tit-for-tat confrontation. Even the Soviet Union was preparing to use nuclear weapons. After the central leadership learned from the American population that the Soviet Union was about to strike against China, the Central Military Commission held an emergency meeting overnight to formulate combat policies.
First, Chairman Mao did not express his own opinions or make any instructions, but just listened carefully to the detailed statements of each member of the Military Commission on the situation. Although everyone expressed their opinions, some even mentioned that they wanted to fight back with nuclear weapons, none of the leaders who had experienced many battles wanted to retreat and seek peace.
However, at this critical moment, Chairman Mao made different opinions and the Chairman did not agree to use nuclear weapons to launch a retaliatory counterattack against the Soviet Union. At the same time, Chairman Mao proposed his own strategic plan to everyone, and this combat policy is shocking.
Chairman Mao first explicitly banned the launch of nuclear bomb at the Soviet Union, and then arranged for all Chinese field armies to gather and prepare to deploy troops to the Sino-Soviet border. While everyone was wondering, Chairman Mao once again arranged and deployed his own plan.
Chairman Mao’s plan was that once the Soviet Union carried out nuclear weapons strikes on Chinese cities in accordance with the established plan, all field armies on the Sino-Soviet border would attack the Soviet Union as quickly as possible and launch multiple batches and all-round attacks on it.
After completing the first combat plan, local independent armed forces and armed militias, as the second echelon, must follow the pace of the large army and devote themselves to the Soviet battlefield without leaving a single person. The ultimate goal of this battle is to occupy all the territory of the Soviet Union, and all the Chinese people immigrate to the Soviet Union and settle down there.
And the reason why Chairman Mao had such a plan was because the Soviet Union wanted to use nuclear weapons to launch a devastating blow to Chinese cities. If the Soviet Union implemented their plan, then a large area of China's land would be contaminated with nuclear pollution and the living environment would be severely damaged.
By then, China will mean that it is no longer suitable for human habitation. Even if China wins this battle, it is imperative to move collectively to find another place to survive. Therefore, instead of being passively beaten, it is better to take the initiative. Chairman Mao then had the idea of moving to the Soviet Union collectively.
At that time, Chairman Mao explained his ideas at the meeting. The Chairman believed that since the Soviet Union made such a plan to make China have no place to stand, China was very passive at that time, and it was clearly going to be beaten. If we rise up and resist and the whole nation is soldiers, there may be a turning point.
The Soviet Union always dared not use nuclear weapons on its own territory, and this was a battlefield where close forces were connected. Soldiers from our army who came from guerrilla warfare are even more "who conquers the world with a basket, and they are not afraid of traveling all over the world!"
Chairman Mao's approach of "If you don't let me be good, I won't let you be good" is really bold. Chairman Mao’s idea is to use the hands of one billion Chinese people to break out their own path to survival. The idea of
made the leaders present excited and expressed their approval of the Chairman's plan.At this time, the members of the meeting proposed: "What should we do with our atomic bomb ?" Chairman Mao made another unexpected decision.
"Chairman Mao's most unique decision in 1969 made the world dumbfounded! 》 records that Chairman Mao said: "It is prepared to put them all at the US military base that surrounds our China." This decision was to prevent the US military base from setting aside the Sino-Soviet War, and the consequences of the US more than 200,000 soldiers in the base took the opportunity to go to war against China. The consequences would be unpredictable.
Therefore, as long as the Soviet Union used nuclear weapons against China, according to Chairman Mao’s order, all China’s nuclear weapons will be used to attack the United States. According to Chairman Mao's instructions, after the meeting, the whole country carried out preparations to avoid the atomic bomb in a row, and all field armies gathered on the Sino-Soviet border.
Zhenbao Island incident deteriorated Sino-Soviet relations
To this day, I believe there are still many people who still remember the title of "Big Brother of the Soviet Union". However, why did the intimate revolutionary comrades reach the point of fighting? This starts with the Zhenbao Island incident.
Where the new China was just established in 1949, China and the Soviet Union still experienced a decade-long "honeymoon period".
From 1949 to 1958, China and the Soviet Union supported each other politically and collaborated economically. The Soviet experts and people did provide great help to the education, science and technology and industrial and agricultural construction of the New China. However, no one has a good life, and no flowers have a good life. All of this came to an abrupt end in 1958.
This year, the Communist Party consciousness between China and the Soviet Union began to diverge. Soviet revisionism openly favored India in the armed conflict between the Sino-Indian border, causing the relationship between China and the Soviet Union to deteriorate sharply. In the years afterwards, the Soviet revisionist continued to undermine Sino-Soviet relations. Until 1964, Brezhnev 3 ruled the Soviet Union, and the border situation between the two countries became even more tense. In just five years, the Soviet revisionist provoked thousands of border incidents. In these escalating conflicts, the main conflict location - Zhenbao Island is particularly critical.
The problem of Zhenbao Island has a long history. Zhenbao Island is located in Hulin County, Heilongjiang Province. Its first location is on this side close to China.
Moreover, the northern end of Zhenbao Island was originally closely connected to mainland China, but after years of erosion of the river, the island landform was only formed in 1915. This is the origin of Zhenbao Island.
According to international practice, Zhenbao Island should have belonged to Chinese territory because of its geographical location, but when the Sino-Soviet border was divided in 1964, the Soviet Union openly assigned Zhenbao Island to its own.
At this point, conflicts between China and the Soviet Union have continued to occur over the Zhenbao Island area. In addition, the relationship between China and the Soviet Union has gradually deteriorated, and the Soviet Union's provocative actions have increased day by day. From January 23, 1967 to March 2, 1969 alone, in just two years, the Soviet border guards invaded China's Zhenbao Island 16 times.
As the situation in Zhenbao Island became increasingly tense, the Soviet Union's provocative behavior increased day by day. Therefore, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to launch a self-defense counterattack against the Soviet Union in the Zhenbao Island area in 2019. The Soviet army did not gain any advantage in many armed conflicts, which led to a series of subsequent plans to launch nuclear weapons, forcing Chairman Mao to formulate a combat policy that scares the enemy.
Soviet revisionism made a wrong decision
Because the Soviet troops did not take advantage of the many conflicts on Zhenbao Island, this gave the Soviet leadership a very tough attitude, and even many hardliners expressed their own opinions, that is, to "eliminate the Chinese threat once and for all."
Soviet revisionism intends to use medium-range ballistic missile in the Far East to implement a "surgical nuclear resection strike" on important military and political cities in China and those large cities. This means that these cities within the range of attack will be completely destroyed by nuclear weapons.
Soviet revisionist leaders ignored the friendship between two socialist countries that have supported each other for more than ten years, and wanted to use nuclear weapons as devastating weapons without authorization. The consequences of this idea will be immeasurable once implemented. However, the Soviet authorities were still preparing to use nuclear weapons to attack Chinese cities. So, after receiving the order, their ambassador to the United States, Doberenin urgently made an appointment with the US Presidential Assistant Kissinger, and informed him of his country's decision and solicited opinions from relevant American leaders.
However, the US authorities were in a difficult position when they learned the news. No matter what political stance and attitude the US government at that time was very reluctant to see the Soviet Union use nuclear weapons to attack Chinese cities, but it was also difficult to explain this matter.
So, the US government, which racked its brains, came up with a very clever way to "leak" this huge secret to the newspaper, and then used this report to pass on the news that the Soviet Union was going to use nuclear weapons to attack China to the Chinese government.
In this way, the Chinese authorities learned about the Soviet plan through this informal channel. This is how Chairman Mao wanted to use nuclear weapons to combat. The national leaders who came through the rain of bullets held an emergency meeting that night to formulate and deploy relevant combat matters. Not only were they not afraid of nuclear weapons, a devastating weapon, but they were full of energy and wanted to fight the enemy to the end.
After weighing the pros and cons, Chairman Mao made a combat policy of attacking the Soviet Union in all aspects and using nuclear weapons against the United States.
Chairman made a clever plan to calm down the incident of Zhenbao Island
The matter has not ended here. They did not let us live a peaceful life, nor did we let the Soviet Union live a good life. Chairman Mao immediately practiced what he said.
So, after the meeting, Chairman Mao asked Premier Zhou to inform the Soviet Union and the United States of the decision made just now at 2 a.m.
Premier Zhou first sent a message to the Soviet Union’s co-chairman of national defense Kosykin to inform them of Chairman Mao’s decision. Because China and the United States did not establish diplomatic relations at that time, Premier Zhou informed Polish of the decision to prevent the United States from taking advantage of the situation and use their nuclear weapons, and used them to convey information to the United States.
After receiving the news from China, the first thing that was panicked was the Soviet Union, which was about to start war. Kosykin came to Brezhnev's residence with Premier Zhou's telegram in panic, "Mao Zedong is crazy! He actually used this method to deal with us!"
So, Chairman Mao's goal was achieved, because not long after that, the leaders and generals of the Soviet Union hurriedly held an emergency meeting to further discuss combat plans and discuss if they should respond to such a crazy counterattack like China.
: Two chapters, the United States' assistant to the United States' security affairs, Kissinger also received a message from Premier Zhou as soon as possible. They had just experienced the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and had a deep understanding of Chairman Mao’s impermanence in military use and the inconspicuousness of ghosts and gods.
For China's combat plan, the leaders of the US authorities did not dare to slacken in any way, and also convened an emergency meeting overnight to discuss countermeasures. They are worried that China's combat policy is irresistible to the Soviet Union, and this battle may eventually affect the United States. In the face of its own interests, the United States decided to stand on China's side this time.
The then-US President Nixon also agreed with the meeting's decision, so the US Assistant for Security Affairs Kissinger replied to the Soviet Union's major event in the United States that the United States firmly opposes the Soviet Union's use of nuclear weapons to strike China. If the Soviet Union still insists on its own way, the United States will use nuclear weapons against the Soviet Union.
" Washington Star " on August 28, 1969 also published an article titled "The Soviet Union wants to perform surgical nuclear strikes on China", which not only made the Soviet Union's plan public, but also expressed its political stance.
"Chairman Mao's most unique decision in 1969 made the world dumbfounded! 》 records that before the United States made this series of actions publicly, the Soviet Union had given up its decision to use nuclear weapons to attack China and wanted to reconcile with China. At the same time, Kosigin also called Premier Zhou to meet. At first, Premier Zhou just replied that they would consider it.
Finally, on September 11 of the same year, Kosykin attended the funeral of Ho Chi Minh . When he returned from Vietnam, he met Prime Minister Zhou at Beijing Airport. The two carried out formal negotiations between the government. After that, the situation gradually improved and the bloody conflict ended.
China and the Soviet Union agreed to maintain the status quo of the border. In 1991, Zhenbao Island was officially classified as China, and in 1997, Zhenbao Island was officially fully owned by China in law.
Conclusion
"Chairman Mao's most unique decision in 1969 made the world dumbfounded! 》 introduced that after the incident subsided, the reporter of Xinhua News Agency wanted to publish a complete report on the causes and consequences of the Zhenbao Island incident, and wanted to fully record Chairman Mao’s combat policies and plans at that time in the article.
However, after asking Chairman Mao for instructions, the matter was stranded. Chairman Mao always believed that the confrontation between China and the Soviet Union was caused by the mistakes of individual leaders of the Soviet revisionist leaders, but the friendship between the two peoples was still there, and the comrades who had helped them could not be sad. The struggle was just about the matter and not the people.
