On December 30, 2022, the Luquan District Committee of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province held the 2022 annual military meeting. Li Weijun, deputy mayor of Shijiazhuang City, secretary of the Luquan District Party Committee, and first secretary of the District Party Committee of the People's Armed Forces Department, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, leaders of the District People's Armed Forces Department, as well as township party committee secretaries, township People's Armed Forces Department ministers, and responsible comrades from relevant units directly under the district attended the meeting. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping's thoughts on strengthening the military, conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee and Municipal Party Committee's military meeting, reviewed the progress of armed work in 2022, carried out a report on the party's armed work, and arranged and deployed the next step of work.
At the meeting, Lu Wuhua, Minister of the District People's Armed Forces, conveyed and learned the spirit of President Xi's important speech on national defense and military construction and the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee and the Municipal Party Committee's Military Meeting. Bai Qingwu, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Political Commissar of the District People's Armed Forces Department, reviewed the situation of the Party's armed work in the district this year and arranged and deployed key tasks for the next step. The township party committee secretary gave a report on the recruitment of military service, militia building and the standardized construction of the township armed forces department.
Li Weijun spoke at the meeting and pointed out that since this year, the district committee, district government and district People's Armed Forces Department have adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Strengthening the Military, conscientiously implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission and Chairman Xi, and solidly promoted national defense under the strong guidance of the municipal party committee, municipal government and the garrison district party committee. Mobilizing and building reserve forces, actively participating in epidemic prevention and control, emergency rescue and other tasks, successfully completing various tasks centered on war preparations, and taking the forefront in troop training and preparation, militia building, and military service recruitment. The construction of the district's national defense reserve forces has reached a new level.
