In 1950, when the Korean War broke out, the United States, as the main initiator, swaggered into Korean territory. As the US military intervened in the Korean War, other countries also participated. These "shrimp soldiers and crab generals" were the "little brothers" of the US military, and there were a total of fifteen. However, the number of troops sent by these fifteen countries was not large, especially Luxembourg, which only sent 44 "big soldiers", but the casualty ratio reached as much as one-third...

1. The origin of Turkey and China
In addition, the "Turkish Brigade" composed of 5,000 people also joined the US camp. They claimed to be the ferocious wild wolves of West Asia, and they were bound to show their talents in this war and make a splash. However, is the reality really what the Turkish Brigade wished for?
In terms of geographical location, Türkiye, North Korea and China are "eight poles apart". North Korea and China are far away from Turkey. The three parties have always been on the same page and have no disputes over interests.
So, why does Türkiye want to get involved in this war between the United States, North Korea, and China? In fact, from a historical perspective, Türkiye and China have a profound entanglement. Historically, the ancestors of the Turks were ethnic minorities known as the "Hongnu", "Rouran", "Turk" and other ethnic groups in the ancient feudal dynasty. These ethnic minorities gradually formed a large scale on the Mobei grassland. They dominated one area and had many plans for China's borders.

During the Tang Dynasty, the Turks were driven out by the Tang army and had to leave China's borders and migrated westward to the Ottoman Turkish Empire. So, did Turkey participate in the Korean War because of revenge? Obviously, this doesn't make sense at all.
Logically speaking, the Tang Dynasty was hundreds of years old. There was no need for Turkey to send troops to get involved in the muddy waters. The festivals and conflicts left by our ancestors and ancient China have long since been washed away by the long river of history...
2. Turkey's position in World War I World War II
During World War I, Turkey joined the German and Austrian Allies, and also showed its prowess on the battlefield of World War I, defeating hundreds of thousands of British and French coalition troops. However, with the defeat of World War I, Türkiye was quickly carved up and turned into a very inconspicuous country. For the future development of the Turkish state, its government has no choice but to unite with powerful countries and rely on their power.

After World War I, Turkey became a failed country. Then it flirted with the victorious country, Britain, and soon "jumped" and became Britain's "little brother." With the rise of the second industrial revolution , the United States gradually stepped onto the stage of world hegemony, replacing the old Britain's position.
As a result, the Turkish government began to take the initiative to repair with the United States. Britain and the United States have always been in frequent contact. It is harmless for Türkiye to switch from being friendly with Britain to being friendly with the United States. However, from Germany's perspective, Türkiye's behavior of "joining if it cannot win" is very disgraceful. After the outbreak of World War II, Türkiye, not surprisingly, stood by the United States, even though the German Nazi invasion was so fierce and powerful that it almost dominated the battlefields of Europe.
So why does Türkiye insist on siding with its former enemies? It turned out that after the defeat in World War I, the Turkish government learned its lesson and had to rely on the then overlord Britain to protect its small country. Turkish soldiers had always adhered to the principle of cooperation with Britain and the United States and participated in World War II and later the Korean War.

3. The war between Volunteer Army and Turkey
In 1950, the Korean War started. In October, the Volunteer Army crossed Yalu River Bridge and rushed to the Korean battlefield to fight. Turkey sent an elite force of 5,000 people to participate in the battle. At this time, Marshal Peng Dehuai had never heard of the name "Turkish" Brigade. The Turkish soldiers are well-equipped. They have cold eyes, thick hair, and a bunch of sheep's whiskers beards. They look cruel and ruthless.
At the end of November, on Jiari Ridge, Chinese Volunteer Army had their first confrontation with the Turkish Brigade. However, before this confrontation, the Turkish Brigade made a joke.
It turned out that the Turkish brigade, under the order of U.S. Lieutenant General Walker , went to Jiariling to wait for the Chinese volunteers to detour. The ambush troops waited for opportunities to ambush the volunteers. After nightfall, the Turkish brigade finally waited for an army. In order to act on the safe side, the Turkish commander also specially observed the appearance of this army. He saw that they had black hair, yellow skin, brown-black eyes, and were not tall. They looked like Asians.

The excited Turkish army thought that they were about to make military exploits, so they beat the troops hard and captured hundreds of prisoners. However, when they invited Lieutenant General Walker to test the results of the battle, Walker accidentally discovered that the one captured was another of his "little brothers" - the Korean troops, and he was trembling with anger.
The 38th Army, who was behind the two armies, saw this farce of "the flood washed away the Dragon King Temple" and was also very confused. Peng Dehuai asked the solution side: "What is the Turkish Brigade?"
The solution side calmly introduced: "It is the United Nations Army , about five thousand people, known to be extremely fierce! Now I can't see the reckless man."
"Then let our 38th Army sweep it away!" Peng Dehuai knew very well that fighting relies on brains, not the courage of reckless men, so he decided to teach the Turkish Brigade a good lesson.
Soon, Peng Dehuai issued the order of "Three Fierce Tactics", namely: pursue and attack the same strategic location, take advantage of the high morale to rush and fight the enemy, and finally, pursue the fleeing enemy with overwhelming force without letting a single Turkish army go.

The sudden and violent offensive made the Turkish brigade unable to withstand it. Soon the volunteers captured dozens of prisoners and annihilated more than 600 Turkish soldiers. However, no matter whether the volunteers spoke English, French or Korean, the Turkish soldiers could not answer and could only hesitantly say "Turkish".
After questioning to no avail, the volunteers continued to charge towards Jiari Ridge. To the surprise of the volunteers, the Turkish soldiers did not collapse and flee in all directions like the Korean army. They even waved their sabers with the determination to die and wanted to die together with the volunteers...
In response to this situation, Peng Dehuai quickly formulated the "Three Three Soldiers" for the 38th Army, which means that the troops will be divided into groups to fight flexibly. Seizing the hills, in the end, the volunteers seized the three hills of Jiariling. The Turks on the last hill, still holding on to the determination to face death, fought with our army in hand-to-hand combat. In the end, they were defeated by our army.

Although the Turkish Brigade is a fierce enemy, as ferocious as wild wolves, the Volunteer Army is not a brave Siberian tiger brigade in the white mountains and black waters. The awakening of justice will eventually defeat all barbaric forces, and those who love the motherland and peace will eventually win.
