Recently, with the arrival of the Western holiday “Christmas”, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense specially released a short video on its social account to summarize the war this year. In the short video, expressed gratitude to the 52 countries and regions that have provided help to Ukraine.
However, there were disharmonious scenes in the short film. Ukraine not only used the flag of the Taiwan authorities, but also used the flag of the Hong Kong independence gang. This move blatantly challenged the one-China principle , and our country firmly resisted it.
In the short film, Uzbekistan also expressed its gratitude to the mercenaries from all over the world, saying that among the more than 20,000 mercenaries, about 10 soldiers were from Taiwan, China, and one of them, Zeng Shengguang, a Taiwanese, also died on the battlefield. The reason why Ukraine expresses its gratitude to the Taiwan authorities is probably because the Taiwan authorities not only "contributed" soldiers, but also "contributed money and efforts" to Ukraine: providing about 34 million US dollars in funds to Ukraine, as well as weapons and supplies.
As for Ukraine's use of the flag of the Taiwan authorities and the flags of Hong Kong independence elements, Hong Kong Chief Executive Lee Chia-chao also responded immediately, urging Ukraine to properly handle the issue as soon as possible. Both Taiwan Province and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region belong to China, and must not give "Taiwan independence" forces and Hong Kong chaos elements an opportunity to take advantage of. Not long after, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense urgently deleted the video from its account.

China maintains a neutral stance, but Ukraine challenges China for no reason.
Since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, China has always maintained a neutral stance and has never provided arms assistance to Russia, let alone mercenaries. What is the purpose of the Ukrainian Ministry of National Defense to make this fuss?
Ukraine’s move may be precisely to please the United States and the West. After all, the aid funds and weapons Ukraine receives are either from the United States or Europe. The United States has always said one thing and done another. It promises to adhere to the one-China principle, but then sells weapons to the Taiwan authorities and sends envoys to Taiwan at every turn.
Europe and the United States are not far behind. They just sent people from the European Parliament to Taiwan to meet with Taiwan leader Tsai Ing-wen. Tsai Ing-wen also posted a photo of herself and the visitors on her Twitter.
With the good examples set by the two "big brothers", Ukraine has followed closely behind, frantically testing China's most sensitive issues, and even stepping on two high-voltage lines.

Ukraine does not seem to be acting on a whim on the Taiwan issue. After US House of Representatives Speaker Pelosi fled to Taiwan, Ukraine immediately set up a group to contact the Taiwan authorities, and even planned to set up a so-called "representative office" in Taiwan. It can be described as extremely ridiculous. Uzbekistan also ignored the stalemate in the war and sent a delegation to Taiwan to follow suit.
The Taiwan authorities also took the opportunity to fan the flames at the very beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict to embolden their so-called "resistance to China and Taiwan". Now the Taiwan authorities seem to be taking advantage of this momentum and starting to "rectify things."
Taiwan’s foreign affairs department stated that Taiwan Province plans to establish a new “representative office” in Montreal, Canada. This is already the fourth "representative office" established by the Taiwan authorities in Canada. The first three are in Ottawa , Vancouver and Toronto .
Taiwan authorities stated that the establishment of a new "representative office" in Montreal can inject new impetus into further cooperation between the two sides, and Canada has just released a new " Indo-Pacific Strategy ".
