First talk about Marshal Liu Bocheng. He has a deep experience and has participated in the siege of Yuan Shikai and the War of Protecting the Country. During that period, Liu Bocheng was called the "God of War". Later, Four Crossings of Chishui , Thousand Miles of Jumping into Dabie Mountains and other battles are all very classic.
Chairman Mao’s evaluation of him was “Liu Bocheng is a dragon”, Zhu De’s evaluation of him was “a military genius”, and his opponent Chiang Kai-shek sighed even more, no one under his command could compare with Liu Bocheng.
Let’s talk about the specific battle. In 1947, during the two-month battle in northern Henan, he annihilated more than 40,000 Kuomintang members. But Liu Bocheng is very low-key. When others call him the Eternal General, he will definitely reply, "I dare not be a good person." On many occasions, it is said that Su Yu is the Eternal General. In other words, Liu Bocheng recognizes Su Yu as the God of War.
