In 1948, the golden age of airline development, Chen Zhuolin returned to Hong Kong due to an unexpected incident. At the end of the uprising between the two airlines, Chen Zhuolin made a request for the airline to be owned by the country. For this reason, Premier Zhou personally appointed Chen Zhuolin as the general manager of "Central Airlines". At that time, Chen Zhuolin was devoted to studying the aviation industry. Soon after, he ended his short-term general manager position of "Central Airlines" by returning to Guangdong.
According to media reports on pilot martyr Chen Zhuolin, Chen Zhuolin had been serving the aviation industry until his death, but he had never accepted any other appointments. Chen Zhuolin himself once said: Success and fame are not my ultimate goal. As long as I can contribute my strength to the country, I can do anything in any position!
