PS: The difference between the two strategies is that although "defensive offense" will also take the initiative to launch an offense, it is still strategically focused on defense, which is still "after-attacking"; while "offensive defense" is completely the opposite, emphasizing "pre-attacking". In addition to the external factors that believe that China has the "modification of military strategic policy", Satham also believes that China has the strength to adopt the preemptive strategy . After the US House Speaker Pelosi visited Taiwan in early August, the People's Liberation Army held a large-scale military exercise in the sea and airspace around Taiwan Island , and after the exercises ended, it began a normalized combat readiness police patrol that continued until now. These actions show the outside world the PLA's strong strength, and while preventing other countries from interfering in the Taiwan Strait, they can also carry out large-scale military operations around Taiwan.
Satam pointed out that China's current military power has been able to cover three areas that are crucial to China's national security. China's long-range ballistic missiles can destroy the US military's military bases in the first and second island chains, as well as the US military's surface ship that navigates the waters within the island chain. China's H-6K/N bombers can further strike US surface ships between the second island chain and the third island chain of .
But it is undeniable that China's military power is still mainly defense. Whether it is the PLA Air Force equipped with J-20 and J-16, or the PLA Navy that owns 3 aircraft carriers (one ship is outfitted), its mission is more inclined to "defend China" rather than taking preemptive action. Satam believes that a very important reason why China adopts this military strategy is that it lacks sufficient intercontinental offensive forces to effectively attack the United States, which is thousands of miles away. However, with the emergence of H-20 stealth bomber , Winglong-3 large drone, CH-7 stealth drone and JH-XX stealth fighter bomber with intercontinental strike capabilities, China has the ability to launch conventional weapons strikes on the United States.

But does our country really need to change its existing military strategic policy from active defense to preemptive action? In fact, even Satam has to admit the fact that if China launches attacks on these US bases on the premise that "the US military does not launch an attack on China from these bases", it will not only be regarded as an unnecessary escalation, but will also become a diplomatic victory for Washington .
We have already possessed the absolute strength to defeat any country, including the United States, in the second island chain, and this strength is still increasing over time.
