The Russian Federation Ministry of Defense has begun actively pieced together tank from storage bases to make up for the losses of more than 1,360 tanks destroyed by the AFU since February 24.

According to military balance, 550 T-80s are in service, of which 190 are in the upgrade of T-80BVM.
At the same time, these tanks have really low combat power in RF. In particular, 134 T-80s of all versions, including unique samples produced by manual production, were destroyed and seized, and one of the T-80s in good condition was "delivered" to the AFU.
One quarter of the T-80 of the T-80 seized by the AFU in Ukraine has been absolutely destroyed. In addition, there are a large number of tanks seized by the AFU.

AFU has been actively removing T-tanks from storage bases since 80 years. Experience in the T-tank has proved that depending on the tank's condition, the technical cycle of work can be easily measured in months and provides a good logistics and supply chain.
Because it is actually necessary to thoroughly inspect the entire gas turbine engine , replace wires and pipes, repair or replace optical monitoring equipment, sights, communications, fire control system , and a large number of other components and units of the machine.
