
As the Anti-Japanese War Victory Day is approaching, in order to remember the history and carry forward the great national spirit with patriotism as the core, the United Front Work Department of the Dazhou Municipal Committee, together with the Dazhou Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang, went deep into Tongchuan District and Xuanhan County Carry out activities to pay tribute to the veterans of the Anti-Japanese War and to carry forward the patriotic spirit, express condolences and interview the veterans of the Anti-Japanese War.

At the homes of veterans Peng Shiqing and Luo Fuzhang, the condolence team had a knee-jerk conversation with the veterans, listened to their anti-Japanese war history and combat experiences, and inquired about their health in detail status and living conditions, and sent condolences to express the care of the party and the government and affirm their contributions to the Chinese nation.

When these veterans participated in the Anti-Japanese War, the oldest was twenty years old and the youngest was only 14 years old when they joined the army. However, they actively participated in the Anti-Japanese War and fought for national independence and national reunification. He has made great sacrifices and outstanding contributions and is a valuable asset to the party and the country.

The United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee has always regarded caring for the veterans of the Anti-Japanese War as an important united front work. It regularly and irregularly carries out visits, condolences, care and assistance and other activities, always keeping the living conditions and physical and mental health of the veterans in mind. Effectively solve the problems and difficulties they face, so that the anti-war veterans can fully feel the care and warmth of the party and the government.
