Every time when the people need us, the vast number of retired soldiers have no complaints and spontaneously organize themselves to form veterans service teams. They do not ask for anything in return and use their own strength to help the people in need overcome difficulties.

I remember that during the fight against the epidemic last year, I met a group of veterans. Their average age was over fifty years old, and some were already over sixty years old. They could have had a good rest at home, but they did not. Do. They organized on a voluntary basis and traveled to every epidemic prevention and control point in the community to help volunteers and community workers deliver daily necessities to the people. Some of them had not returned home for several days. What they said most was to see what else they could do to help, and to see which streets and communities had enough manpower.
