The FAA stated on June 26 that one of the planes was being towed away from the gate when the incident occurred, and its wings clipped another parked plane.
According to reports, the passenger aircraft (registration number and aircraft type currently unknown) that was being towed by a tow truck and prepared for flight was pushed back and was pinched on the right wing by Boeing 737-900 (registration number N39423) parked by the same airline.
