Sometimes, people often say that speech is not free in China, but I want to say that speech is too free in China, so you can say things that are not free. Otherwise, in the United States, a 5-year-old boy who said there was a bomb in his schoolbag was expelled from school for threats, intimidation and harassment.

Jackson Riley, a 5-year-old American boy, has just attended a kindergarten in Modesto, California for three weeks. On this day of school, the teacher checked his schoolbag as usual. The schoolbag was normal and the teacher did not find anything abnormal.
However, Jackson's naughty nature came up. As a boy, maybe he watched too many hero movies. He told the teacher that there was a bomb in his schoolbag. If the teacher took off the schoolbag, the bomb would explode.
Although the teacher had already seen the schoolbag, this sentence made the teacher feel that he and the teachers and students in the school had been harassed, threatened or intimidated. The teacher reported the matter to the principal, and Jackson, as the instigator, was ordered to drop out of school.
Not only that, the school also wrote a letter to all parents informing them of the incident. Of course, the purpose of the letter was to serve as a warning to others. It means that as long as you say such things, you can go home, even if you are only 5 years old [a flash of inspiration].
But there is a contradiction in this letter, that is, this kind of threat and intimidation theory is only for students in the fourth to tenth grades. This kind of regulations does not apply to elementary school students below the third grade, let alone a little kid who has just entered kindergarten.

Because Jackson was only 5 years old, the school was lenient, revoked Jackson's permanent suspension, and changed the charges against him, saying that Jackson had intimidated and threatened school officials.
But don’t think that it’s over just because you dropped the charges against Jackson. My parents don’t agree. A 5-year-old child will be labeled as a terrorist threat for life after saying one word. Is that good for the child’s growth?
The child's parents were interviewed by Fox 40 News. The boy's father, Ian Riley, said that the child imagined himself as a hero. The child imagined that there was a bomb in the schoolbag, reminding the person holding the schoolbag that he did not want others to be injured. This is completely different from a terrorist threat. Moreover, where is the threat to a 5-year-old child? They need a clear answer.

The couple said that they did not have a problem with the teacher or the school, they were just dissatisfied with the entire process. They believed that this policy was too harsh on a 5-year-old child.

Yes, do you dare to have an opinion about the school? The child's learning career has just begun, who dares to have an opinion.

Five-year-old children in China shout "beat, kill, kill" every day. Sometimes they say "beat you to death". If they were in the United States, they would probably be considered threats [face covering].
