The lawyer team is an important force in implementing the strategy of comprehensively governing the country according to law and building a socialist country ruled by law. The lawyer industry should unswervingly adhere to the Party’s overall leadership, give full play to the role of the Party organizations of law firms as a fighting fortress and the vanguard and exemplary role of Party member lawyers, strengthen ideological education, strengthen party building leading development, strengthen party discipline education and disciplinary punishment and punishment of violations, and strive to build a team of lawyers with strong political integrity and excellent professionalism with the positioning and responsibility of socialist rule of law workers with Chinese characteristics. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China scientifically plan the goals, tasks and major policies and guidelines for the development of the Party and the country in the next five years and even longer. We must unite our hearts and efforts, concentrate our wisdom and strength on implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, educate and guide lawyers to consciously be firm believers, loyal practitioners and active propagandists of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the path of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, lay a solid foundation for industry development ideas, and promote the high-quality development of the lawyer industry.
First, strengthen the party’s theoretical armament, build the party with thoughts, and strengthen the theory. Strengthen the Party’s theoretical study, research, publicity and implementation, strengthen ideological education, and make the positioning of the era of “socialist rule of law workers with Chinese characteristics” deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Through organic combination of " Three Meetings and One Class ", theme education, red practical education, etc. with the team building and cultural construction of law firms, we will carry out the " Four Histories " learning and education in a solid manner, widely disseminate the core socialist values of , and comprehensively promote the cultural construction of law firms. By strengthening Party building, studying the Party’s theories, principles and policies, making good development layout of law firms, grasping the direction of lawyer business development, and helping law firms to be refined, specialized, and bigger and stronger. By strengthening the Party’s theoretical armament, building the Party with ideas and strengthening the theory, supporting the leadership of the Communist Party of China and supporting the socialist rule of law has become a distinctive industry orientation.
The second is to strengthen cultural confidence and self-improvement, hold high the great banner, and promote positive energy. We are workers of the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics. We must have strong professional and cultural confidence, and we must continue to enhance our cultural confidence with the strong awareness and practical actions of being a good lawyer who satisfies the Party and the people. In the new journey, we must raise the banner, gather the hearts of the people, cultivate new people, promote culture, display image, stand firm in the position of people's lawyers, take the position of people's lawyers, professional legal services of lawyers, participate in resolving social conflicts, carry out public welfare activities, promote the spirit of socialist rule of law, enhance the concept of the rule of law for the whole people, and build a legal professional community as a powerful tool. We must promote positive energy with professional level, vivid brands, advanced individuals, and excellent deeds, promote cultural confidence and self-improvement in the lawyer industry, and then transform cultural confidence into organizational confidence, development confidence, and career confidence.
The third is to strengthen the requirements of high-quality development, actively demonstrate actions, and practice mission and responsibilities. The requirements for high-quality development put forward by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China cover all aspects such as science and technology, education, medical care, energy, ecological environment, and reliability and security of the supply chain, and also implies the inherent meaning of concentrating efforts on the overall situation, talking about quality, and doing major tasks.The Guangdong lawyer industry should give full play to the policy advantages of the national strategy and its location advantages adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, seize the major opportunities of building the three major platforms such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area , Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone and the three major platforms of Nansha , Qianhai , and Hengqin, focus on legal services on the real economy, and put the work of stabilizing growth, ensuring safety, and promoting innovation in a more prominent position, and actively demonstrate its role and fulfill its mission and responsibility in key areas such as helping the construction of the Greater Bay Area , scientific and technological innovation , the Belt and Road Initiative, international and domestic dual circulation, and rural revitalization.
Fourth, strengthen comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, promote standardized management and integrity construction in an integrated manner, and ensure the healthy development of the lawyer industry. From the technical definition of "a practitioner who provides legal services to the parties" to the positioning of "a worker with socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics", the development of China's legal profession has ushered in a rare historical opportunity. As party member lawyers, we must be vigilant about our ideological lenientness and not separate our party membership from our lawyer identity. As grassroots party organizations, we must pay attention to strengthening party discipline education and disciplinary punishment, and always maintain the purity and advanced nature of the party member team. As a law firm, we must combine the construction of the party’s work style and clean government, the fight against corruption, the standardized operation and management of law firms, and the integrity of lawyers. In short, we must adhere to comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, promote standardized management and integrity construction in an integrated manner, and ensure the healthy and orderly development of the lawyer industry.
