In late November, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau held the 2022 Zhenjiang Foreign Science and Technology Cooperation Business Guidance Meeting. More than 50 relevant responsible persons from various municipal (district) science and technology departments, Jiangsu University , Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and various cooperative units attended the meeting. At the meeting, the head of the Foreign Cooperation Department of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau introduced the current situation of foreign science and technology cooperation and the new policy on the use of science and technology funds, and made mobilization and deployment on the application for of national and provincial international science and technology cooperation and foreign experts' project in 2023. Tao Fei, a third-level researcher at the Foreign Experts Bureau of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Professor Shi Weidong of Jiangsu University, respectively interpreted the relevant policies of foreign expert projects at all levels and the connotation of the application for provincial international scientific and technological cooperation projects.
In 2022, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau vigorously carried out foreign scientific and technological cooperation and actively carried out international scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges, introduced 247 new foreign talents, and was approved for 34 national high-end foreign expert introduction projects, 9 provincial international scientific and technological cooperation projects, 2 provincial foreign expert projects, and 7 provincial foreign expert studios.
