On the afternoon of December 29, the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee held a study meeting of the Institutional Theory Study Center Group to discuss, exchange and study the "Constitution of the Communist Party of China (Amendment)". Sun Xiaoxiong, deputy secretary-general of the Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the theoretical study center group of the commissioned agency and heads of various departments and offices of the agency attended the meeting.
The meeting pointed out that the Party Constitution is the party’s general charter and is the fundamental code of conduct that the entire party must abide by. All party members of the Party Committee must conscientiously study the provisions of the Party Constitution, accurately grasp the spirit of the Party Constitution, resolutely safeguard the authority of the Party Constitution, strictly implement the requirements of the Party Constitution, and persist in using Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to focus their minds and souls. We must keep a firm political direction, stand firm on political stance, hone our political abilities, and ensure that the Party Constitution is absorbed in our minds and hearts. We must keep in mind the original intention of serving the people, assume the responsibility of stability, strictly abide by political disciplines, and ensure that the provisions of the Party Constitution are reflected in specific actions and implemented in political and legal undertakings.
At the meeting, two members of the Institutional Theory Study Center Group, Luo Renjian and Jin Wei, made exchange speeches on the study of the "Constitution of the Communist Party of China (Amendment)" based on their work practice.
