reported that the convoy consisted of 7 military armored vehicles trying to enter the local village. On October 7 the day before, the US military stole Syrian oil and dispatched a convoy of 50 oil tankers to transport the stolen oil to Iraq .
The US military frequently steals Syria's oil resources, seriously damaging the Syrian economy. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on October 8 that the United States' cross-border procurement of Syrian oil is an "piracy" and violates international law and the " UN Charter ". According to a statement issued by the Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in August this year, the average daily oil production in Syria in the first half of this year was about 80,300 barrels, of which about 66,000 barrels were "stolen from occupied oil fields in the eastern region by the US military and its supported armed forces."
