The second son is now working in a nearby mine. The eldest daughter works as a toll collector in the village, and the second daughter works as an accountant in the village. In May 2013, the embassy issued Wang Qi a 10-year Chinese passport, but India still did not provide an exit permit. It was not until February 11, 2017 that he returned to his hometown.
