As the country with the largest population for a long time, China's ability to create people has declined and is about to lose to India. This is a real warning to every Chinese.
Our population policy can be said to have changed over and over again. Over the last century, we have continued to encourage childbirth. More people are more powerful, and many heroic mothers have been born. At that time, the problem of food and clothing was barely solved, every household had several children, and more people made it easier to farm.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, things took a turn for the worse. The implementation of family planning was as fierce as a tiger, and its impact was so profound that it may not be possible for decades to come. Reversal, not daring to have more children, has become the mainstream. A family only has one child, and it has become a basic national policy. I am afraid that for the first time in China's thousands of years of history, one child is too few, so that now the continuous encouragement of two and three children has failed to stimulate the Chinese people's desire to have children.
Once upon a time, especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were clan societies, big families, five generations living under the same roof, and even hundreds of people in a family eating together regardless of their families, with a large number of people and a huge formation. Later, with the development of society, the clan society gradually collapsed, so that large families were divided into several small families. The concept of family became increasingly weak and the number of people was thin. The spectacular scene of a large family working in the mountains and fields in the past was gone forever.
Our country is mainly dominated by the Han population. The current situation is not a good phenomenon for the country, nation, or family. The population base is also on the decline. Human beings live in groups and have undergone major changes in the past 20 years. In a few years, we will face many headaches and unpredictable problems, and the decline in population quality has become a certainty.
Many handicrafts, skills, especially knowledge and skills in childbirth, prenatal education, etc. will be lost. With such a large land area, I'm afraid it will be sparsely populated again. The farming system is further disintegrating, the desire to have children is declining, the birth rate is low, and the population is aging seriously. All these are severe tests that we must face.
If the country does not take effective measures to turn the tide, it is afraid that human resources will be quite scarce in the future.
As a country in China, if we lag behind others in childbirth, I am afraid that we will inevitably be bullied by foreigners in the future. I hope that the country can vigorously reward and encourage childbirth and ensure the quantity and quality of the population, so that the country and the people can live in peace and stability for a long time.
