Seattle Mariners (English: Seattle Mariners), is one of the Major League Baseball , affiliated with American League baseball teams, founded in 1977. The home court is located in , , , Washington state , T-Mobile Stadium (T-Mobile Park), which was launched in 1999.
- is part of the American League West District.
- From 1995 to 2001, the Mariners were a strong team and won 4 playoff tickets.
- is the only team in the major league that has not yet reached the World Series
1970s to the 1980s
Mariners joined the FAA as an expanded team in 1977. This is also the major leagues returned to Seattle since the Seattle Pilots moved from Seattle to Milwaukee in 1970.
Mariners' first game was against the California Angels at the Kings Stadium on May 6, 1977 (in the end lost 7-0). Mariners' early record continues to be low. In the first 13 seasons in team history, 10 of them ended with the bottom or second-to-last place in the American League West, and it was not until the 1991 season that they won more than their defeats in a single season.
In addition to having Gaylord Perry (famous spitball pitcher, he ranked in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991, leaving the last two years of his 20-year baseball career as a sailor), Alvin Davis (1984 Major League Baseball Newcomer Winner), Harold Reynolds (1987 and 1988 to 1990), Mark The Mariners' performance of these stars Langston (the AFC strikeout in 1984, 1986, and 1987, and was selected for the Major League Star Game four times from 1987, 1991 to 1993) is still depressed. The major chronicles of this period were hosting the Star Game in 1979. Gaylord Perry won his 300th career win in 1982. Third baseman Jim Presley scored a two-point home run under nine innings in the first game in 1986 and tied the game into the playoffs and then scored a victory in the tenth inning... The relatively disgraceful record includes Roger Clemens slapping the Mariners on May 29, 1986 and becoming the first major league pitcher ever to send 20K in nine innings.
Midfielder Ken Griffey, Jr., was named first in the first round draft by the Mariners in 1987. After playing as a rookie in 1989, he gave fans hope that the team may change in the future. Grefie Jr. has good offense and defense, fast running speed and personal charm, which makes him the most talented young player in the major leagues back then and becomes a baseball star in the 1990s. He also helped the Mariners make great progress in their 11th season in team history.

1990s
In 1991, the Mariners won more than lose at the end of the season, led by head coach Jim Lefebvre, for the first time, winning more than losing. Although this was the best season for the Mariners in several years, they could only rank fifth among the seven teams in the West, and head coach Lefebvre was fired. In 1992, Bill Plummer was temporarily acting as head coach, and before the 1993 season, the Mariners hired Lu Pinella, who led the Cincinnati Reds to win the 1990 World Series as head coach.
The Mariners' luck has improved since 1994. They have selected a group of good players with central and outfielder Ken Grefif Jr. , pitcher Randy Johnson, and designated strike against Edgar Martinez as the core. Unfortunately, they have just escaped the nightmare of losing streak, and the team's history has entered another disaster.
- On July 19, 1994, the four 26-pound ceilings of Kings Dome Stadium fell to the audience, starting the Mariners' further ordeal, fundamentally threatening the future of baseball in Seattle (although in the end this helped baseball's position in Seattle to be further consolidated). Next, the Mariners were forced to conduct the longest away expedition in team history --- traveled 10,425 miles in 21 days to play 20 games (later due to the major league strike on August 12, 1994, their away trip was stopped). The Kings Dome Stadium incident continues to spread, and the debate affects whether the Kings Dome is suitable as a baseball stadium and which stadium should the Mariners use as the new home stadium. Finally, they chose to use Safeco field as their new home court. After the ceiling of Kings Dome fell, the Mariners had to pack up and go on the road. They lost 8 of the first 10 games; but they also cultivated a sense of oneness in the players during the long journey.
- In the last 10 games of their long away game, the Mariners won 9 victories. Players' strike began on August 12, and the season was forced to end. At this time, the Mariners' winnings were only 2 fewer than the division champion Texas Rangers. Many players feel that the process of facing adversity during the journey directly affects their performance in the 1995 season.
At the beginning of the season in 1995, Ken Griffii was injured and he was reimbursed almost the entire season. In mid-August, the Mariners fell behind the California Angels 13 games in the division. But the winning streak in September happened to meet the Angels' losing streak, and as the season ended, the Mariners tied for the first place in the American League's West Division. In the game that decided to win the division championship, the Mariners defeated the Angels 9:1, winning the playoff ticket to the American League West Division championship for the first time in team history. The Division Championship faced the New York Yankees to make a two-chasing three-back. The fifth game of this series was played by Ken Griffith Jr., who hit a goodbye home run in the 11th inning of the playoffs, helping the team win the first series in the team's history; in the end, in the 2-4-lose match in the UEFA Champions League, lost to Cleveland Indians .
2001 Major League Baseball season
2000 Mariners signed a contract with Suzuki Ichiro , with a total value of US$14.08 million in 3 years, of which the signing fee was US$5 million. In 2001, he participated in the Mariners' spring training as a formal player. In the same year, he set a record for the most hits for major leagues with 242 hits, and became 27 votes (all 28). In 2001, the newcomer of the United States, also won the MVP of the year. This year, the Seattle Mariners won the most 116 wins in the history of the major leagues, and the record of the most wins in the United States. This is the second team with such a high winning rate since the Chicago Bears in 1906 (116 wins), and the team with such a high winning rate also tied the major league record. At the same time, the team also wrote a team record of 15 consecutive victories during the season, but in the end, they lost to the New York Yankees in the American League Championship and missed the World Championship.
2002 to 2021
Since 2002, the Mariners have not made it to the playoffs again. Although they have played competitively for many seasons, they have always lacked a lasting kick.
Mariners scored a new high of 13-0 in a single game of this season on September 23, 2018, but the athlete won the victory with a goodbye shot from Trevor Hildenberger, making the Mariners miss the playoffs for 17 consecutive seasons. After the Buffalo Bills made the playoffs in NFL in 2017, the Mariners' playoff drought period has also become the longest record among the four major professional sports in North America.
Mariners lost to the Angels 3-7 on October 3, 2021. Because the Yankees and Red Sox also won, the Mariners missed the playoffs for 20 consecutive seasons, and the drought period has also become the longest record among the four major professional sports in North America. The record of has no 90 wins and 72 losses, which is the best result since 93 wins in 2003 and the season closest to the playoffs.
2022: Return to the voyage
In June 2022, the Mariners once had only 29 wins and 39 losses, but they brought out a wave of team history before the star game and had 14 consecutive victories. Since then, they have never lost the top three brands in the wild card playoffs; the Mariners were finally on September 30, 2022, US time, and the reliance on those who rely on the rest of the game. Carl Rowley hit a goodbye home run in nine innings and defeated the athlete 2-1, confirming his qualification for the playoffs, and has made it into the playoffs again after 20 years. He also handed over the record of the four major professional sports in North America not entering the playoffs in a row to the Kings of Sacramento in NBA (the Kings have not advanced to the playoffs for 16 consecutive years). The United Nations Wild Card Series Game 2, after playing in the first 5 games, the Mariners showed resilience and equalized the score in 8 games with two overall situations, and Adam (Adam) in 9 games. Frazier's advanced hit allowed the Mariners to defeat Blue Jays 10:9, and the AMU wild card battle won two consecutive games, and to advance to the division series to compete with Astros .
- Game1 used Seynn starting Robbie Ray as a backup, and the Mariners' gambling dispatch, lost to take off their pants, and was shot by Yordan Alvarez of the Astronauts to end the game. The Mariners lost 7:8 in the first match of the Astros Division Series.
