New version of passport
We know that ordinary passport is valid for 10 years (over 16 years old). If the blank page in the passport is not enough for or the passport is about to expire , you will face the issue of passport replacement. Long-term visas in many countries can be used together with new and old passports when entering and leaving the country.
However: does not mean that all countries can do it!
Prerequisites: The new passport is issued for reissue with an old passport to enter and exit the country, rather than a new passport that is reissue after being lost! New and old passports, valid visa on the old passport!
regular long-term visa is as follows:
1. The 10-year validity period of the US Class B visa (calculated from the issuance date)
2. Canada can apply for a visa with a maximum validity period of 10 years (calculated based on the passport validity period or a consulate)
3. Schengen country is the maximum validity period of 5 years (calculated based on the passport validity period)
4. The UK has a validity period of 2 years to 10 years (calculated based on the visa fee paid )

9. New Zealand can get a valid period of up to 5 years (calculated based on the applicant's status)

How to use new and old passports
Reminder: All new and old passport holders are advised to consult the consulate to obtain the latest information before departure.
Attachment: (1) The situation where ordinary passport holders apply for a passport replacement:
1. The ordinary passport visa page is about to be used;
2. The validity period of the ordinary passport is less than six months, or the validity period is more than six months but there are materials to prove that the validity period does not meet the requirements of the country of arrival;
3. The name, gender, ID number, place of birth, date of birth on the ID card has changed or the applicant's face has changed significantly;
4. The applicant can collect fingerprints after his finger injury is cured;
5. . Other circumstances approved by the Entry and Exit Administration of the Ministry of Public Security and Exit Administration.
Attachment: (II) The situation where ordinary passport holders apply for a reissue of passport:
If the ordinary passport is damaged, lost or stolen, apply for a reissue of passport.
Note that once you apply for a reissue of your passport, the visa on the old passport may be invalid and you cannot move normally.
When applying for a passport replacement, reissue and reapply, the passport issuance shall be applied for a new passport. The passport number is the latest invalid ordinary passport; the applicant can also apply for a multiple passport number to his current ordinary passport (up to a full license quotation can be added up to 3 numbers that have previously held a passport).
