The 17th Cross-Strait College Student Debate Competition will officially start at 8:30 am on July 23 at Fuzhou Industrial Road Fuzhou University Yishan Building!
Strong lineup
From July 23 to 25, a total of 16 university teams on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will have a fierce debate on social hot topics such as "The advantages and disadvantages of artificial intelligence on human development? Which family style and social atmosphere have a greater impact on people's life?" This competition invited more than 40 debate enthusiasts from Taiwan’s high school and colleges to watch on the spot for the first time.
The judging team of the sea defense competition is different from other events. It uses even-numbered judges, consisting of 4 judges from each side of the Taiwan Strait, with a total of 8 judges. This year, the "debtor judges" were selected. They have grown up through the hierarchical debate competition. They are Tan Feiyi, a lecturer at the School of Media at Shandong Normal University, and the 41st championship of the CCTV "Challenge Host" Competition, and Chen Siyuan, director of the Policy Communication Center of Taiwan's Xianshi Public Relations Group. These judges are familiar with the rules of debate and have rich experience. They are not only judges of the hierarchical debate competition, but also mentors to improve their thinking ability, and also guides to promote cross-strait youth exchanges.
