According to reports, the upcoming fourth competition is hosted by the Youth Committee of the Zhongshan Taiwan Business Investment Enterprise Association and hosted by the Taiwanese Business Youshi.com, GDToday, and N Video. It will hold a challenge for the first time with urban images as the theme. The contestants will hold creative video competitions with the city images of Zhongshan City, Guangdong and Taipei City, Taiwan respectively.
competition mode is "24 hours + 24 hours" mode: the first 24 hours is "24 hours City Challenge", which will be held simultaneously in Zhongshan City and Taipei City on August 27. The shooting will be carried out according to the designated theme within the limited 24 hours, and the video material will be submitted. The length of the entries must be between 15 and 180 seconds, and are only limited to "vertical" videos. You can use mobile phones, DVs, SLRs or other higher-level cameras to shoot.
event set up 5 locations in the challenge city on the same day to complete 5 shooting questions. The first question will be opened in the main venue of the event. After completing the first question, the next question route will be announced. All participants will complete the final check-in after completing the challenge questions, that is, they will complete the 24-hour challenge competition.
The second 24 hours, professional judges will select 50 materials from each side of the Taiwan Strait from all the participants' shooting materials, and then invite previous contestants to edit and produce short films within 24 hours, with 5 pieces from each side of the Taiwan Strait.
This competition has set up photography shortlisted awards, and 100 excellent works are selected from the submitted works of the "24-hour City Challenge". The competition also set up the Best Editing Award. From the short films edited and produced by invited contestants, one first prize, one second prize, one third prize, and winner 7 were selected. All the above-mentioned winners were awarded corresponding bonuses.
It is reported that since 2018, the "Guangdong Comes to Guangdong Fun" creative short video shooting competition has been successfully held for three sessions, building a new platform for long-term communication and interaction for young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The competition has won the enthusiasm of youth from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, youth from Taiwan and foreign youth in Guangdong. The number of entries has increased year by year. The total number of entries in previous years has attracted 80 universities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and nearly 100 professional film and television clubs and studios.
