Sun Guiqin: Lei Feng tied a red scarf for me

From the northern border to Xisha Islands , from the western border to the eastern island, from the elementary school of migrant workers in mountain villages to Peking University ... Even during the epidemic, she still insists on sharing those moving stories with everyone online.
These stories come from a photo and a red scarf.
In April 1962, Sun Guiqin, who was studying in Jianshe Street Primary School (now Leifeng Primary School), Wanghua District, Fushun City, received a notice from the teacher: "You can go to the school reading room to study today." At this moment, Sun Guiqin has been looking forward to it for a long time.
"At that time, the school had just built a reading room. Due to limited space, the students had to take turns. I was very happy at the time, but I didn't know that Lei Feng was coming too." When she arrived at the reading room, she found a book about Huang Jiguang's battle story to read. Not long after she sat down, Lei Feng, who was an off-campus counselor, walked into the reading room.
Seeing Lei Feng, the classmates immediately ran over and surrounded him. "Lei Feng asked us what we were doing, and we answered the story in unison." Sun Guiqin said that Lei Feng took everyone to read the story together. He told the students the story of Chairman Mao's love of labor and studying hard. What made her even happier was that she and her classmates left a precious photo with her uncle Lei Feng that day.

In October 1960, Lei Feng was hired as an outside counselor for Jianshe Street Primary School in Fushun City. Sun Guiqin, who was 7 years old at the time, was in the first grade of this primary school. Once, she was late to school and was running and holding the red scarf in her hand to play. When she walked into the school gate, she found Lei Feng was active with her classmates. Seeing Sun Guiqin, Lei Feng came over, took the red scarf from her hand and put it on her neck, and solemnly told her: "In the future, you must tie the red scarf and take care of the red scarf, because it is a corner of the national flag." When he returned home, Sun Guiqin told her to keep Lei Feng's words in mind, keep the red scarf, and encourage herself at all times. To this day, this red scarf is still treasured at Sun Guiqin's home.
On August 15, 1962, Lei Feng died in the line of duty.On the 17th, Sun Guiqin went to attend Lei Feng's memorial service. When she walked out of the auditorium, she saw that there were people standing outside, "I feel like there are 10 miles away, and the roadside is full of citizens who see Lei Feng off. About a month later, my classmates and I miss him very much, so we went to Lei Feng's tomb. We saw that there were wreaths in front of the tomb, but we didn't bring anything. I looked down at the red scarf with tears on my neck, and took it off. Our 12 classmates tied 12 red scarves into a circle and presented them to our uncle Lei Feng." Sun Guiqin said.
That photo, that red scarf, always inspires Sun Guiqin, and Lei Feng's spirit affected her life.

She joined the army in 1970, entered the Chinese Medical University to study clinical studies in 1976, and began to work in the original Shenyang Military Region General Hospital until she retired. After more than 40 years in the army, Sun Guiqin has been learning from Lei Feng, being Lei Feng, and promoting Lei Feng. During this period, Sun Guiqin was awarded the second-class merit of 22 times and the third-class merit of 23 times. She was awarded advanced individuals and model soldiers by military or above units 14 times.

One day in 1985, when Sun Guiqin was passing by the ward after night shift, she heard a patient say to a patient in the same room, "I feel very uncomfortable today, I want to eat pears." Sun Guiqin turned around and saw that she was a young soldier suffering from malignant lymphoma .
Hearing this, Sun Guiqin was very sad. She ran downstairs and rode her bike to buy pears. After walking in many places, she finally bought 5 kilograms of pears in Shenyang North Market. Unexpectedly, when she returned to the hospital, the young soldier had already breathed in his jaw and his life was in danger. Sun Guiqin walked to him and planned to feed him a pear. The little soldier grabbed her hand and said, "Doctor Sun, I'll ask you something. After I leave, tell my parents not to be sad."
Sun Guiqin couldn't stop tears. The young soldier also comforted her: "You are also my good mother." That year, Sun Guiqin was only 32 years old. On that day, the 19-year-old Guizhou soldier passed away.
One day in 1987, Sun Guiqin's lover went to the hospital to find her. When he passed by the outpatient clinic, he saw an old man sitting on the ground crying. He asked and learned that the old man had not enough money to buy medicine and had no travel expenses to go home. Sun Guiqin and his lover gave him all the money in their pockets. After many years, the couple had long forgotten about this matter. One day, the hospital received a package with the words "Guru Sun (Received)". After opening it, there was a note that said: "My wife is cured of illness, and the whole family went to the mountain to pick some mountain goods for you." The signature was: Daxinganling, Heilongjiang.
Until now, Sun Guiqin couldn't figure out whether it was the old man who called Sun Guiqin as Sun Guiqin, or the old man compared Sun Guiqin to his "noble man".

Someone always asks Sun Guiqin: "You have told you all your life, how long will it take?"

In midsummer, 73-year-old Han Songdong told reporters a past that spans 62 years. Behind her, there was a yellowed black and white photo. It was a photo of 20-year-old Lei Feng and the children. "Lei Feng taught me the principles of being a human being and inspired me to pursue a noble life. This is the direction of my life." Liu Wenge said, "I will always miss him."
